Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 28 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the product did not work as advertised, often performing worse than their existing equipment or failing to create the expected suction or vortex. Reviewers reported issues with the product not fitting correctly, breaking, or causing problems like air being sucked into the filter. People were also dissatisfied with the strict return policy, which included short return windows, high shipping costs for returns, and difficulties in obtaining refunds. However, some customers also noted that the product worked effectively for them, creating the desired vortex and pulling in debris.

I have a variable speed pump and I have it for a reason--to save money. The only way the skim-a-round will remotely work is if I run my pump at double the speed I currently run, and then it still does... See more

This is horrible product and does not…

This is horrible product and does not work. Worse than that is zero customer service. They hide their phone numbers, emails etc. I got stuck with this piece of plastic that does not work, they won't let me return it like the ad said I could. I should have read all these other negative reviews first before I bought.

Another Scam Victim

Let me add my name to the long list of very unhappy scam victims. They are a shell company, selling inferior products. Returns are impossible. Unless you enjoy losing $40, don't give them a dime of your money.

Complete joke of a company

Complete joke of a company. This product does not work as advertised and you cannot reach anyone at customer service - not even through their website. If you offer a negative comment on Facebook they block you from being able to comment at all. DO NOT BUY!

No way to contact. Did not send products. They wouldn’t even respond to PayPal about it.

What a terrible company. Clicked on a FB add of theirs (probably my first mistake). When my order arrived, it didn’t have everything I paid for. Should be a simple fix, right? Absolutely not. Could not find a way to contact them. All emails come back returned. Fortunately, I paid through PayPal and was covered by their buyer protection. After filing a dispute THEY STILL WOULDN’T SEND WHAT I PAID FOR!!!! I had to escalate my dispute and get PayPal to interview. What an absolute rubbish company.

Absolute rubbish. A scam. Not an engineered product. Does not work. They have no technical support. Don't waste your time buying.

Piece of Junk! $50 gone with no refund

Product doesn't work. I contacted them the day I received it via email, then again. They never answered. Company sucks. No Ph# on the site to actually talk to someone. Please don't waste your time or money.

Horrible company, skammers

A pool skimmer basket that floats? The item does not work as advertised. When you return the item to the company, they don't refund your money. You cannot contact them by phone either. Also, the BBB has an open case on this company for exactly the same complaint from hundreds of consumers.

Skim a Round "All In One" is one universal waste of money.

I bought two of these "revolutionary" and "universal fit" skimmer basket replacements for our inground pool skimmers last summer.
They did NOT fit because NONE of the trim rings fit my Kafko skimmers. I called the company and they said, "yes, we know they do not fit Kafko skimmers like the ones you have." Really? That doesn't sound like a universal fit to me? I asked them to send a custom replacement ring and they laughed. I asked for a refund and they agreed if I pay return shipping which was basically the cost of the product. This way they get the product back and I pay for it twice. I threw this trash in the garbage and recommend EVERYONE reconsider buying these products. Additionally, just for good measure, if your pool has two skimmers, they will not work EVEN if the fit! I placed them and just held them in place and they just float up. Unless you have a high volume pump and turn off all drain return except the skimmers, they simply do not work. Absolutely trash. They should be out of business if this is their main product. Also, I posted my complaint on their Facebook page several times and they promptly deleted it to ensure they only have good reviews.
