Skio was great to work with and we had the opportunity to land a remix for Bonnie x Clyde through their remix contest. Highly recommend checking them out.

Very satisfied to take part in a remix competition. With free trial I could download stems and had lot of fun remixing the track. Patiently waiting for the results!
awful. I keep trying to log in to cancel membership but it won't let me in without first verifying my email... they email my email address with the code many hours later at 5am... they've done this ev... See more

Great website for producers out there
Great website for producers out there, especially for producers who want to have licensed remix and join the community as well. I'm not giving Skio a perfect 5 stars because there's still much to improve. Remix contest for example, when you open a remix contest entry page, instead of showing the top entry first, why not showing the recent one first? So that way, producers doesn't rush their track because they wanted to have lots of plays, likes, and feedbacks.

I really appreciate your work
I really appreciate your work. You've established a clean, usable, and very useful site and have given hope and chance to many almost desperate bedroom producers to show their music to others and then get reviews from professionals.

A Brief Note about SKIO
Music Industry is like an ocean and SKIO music is like a boat that lets you reach to success at some point of time. Remix competitions are truly good and they allow you to use your creativity. Feedback reports add the cherry on the top of the cake. The reports give you a complete analysis of your song and how can you improve on your work. I've been using SKIO for almost two years. I would definitely prefer SKIO Music for newcomers.

I really like the website overall
I really like the website overall, but I miss a volume controller. Sometimes the site seems a bit laggy when you try to replay a song or if you wait a few minutes you might have to refresh the website for it to start working again.

SKIO Music is an outright scam
SKIO Music is an outright scam. I started using the platform in 2018 and yes, their abundance of remix contests and original song contest were very plentiful, everything seemed too good to be true. Listen, my songs are not the greatest and of course, I'm not saying that "I should've won", but things have been a little fishy once I started looking deeper into the remix contests after The Chainsmokers Takeaway remix contest.
1. The winner was put out on the remix compilation album WELL before the winner was announced.
2. A recent future bass original song contest has a winner that was recently signed.
I know they had some issues when they…
I know they had some issues when they started to scale and I had to wait a bit for my paid review as well, but they've stayed in touch with me and just gave me a super detailed review that is really going to help me make my music better. So I understand why they'd have a backlog when recent contests have had tens of thousands of applicants and they are actually giving detailed advice.

Really bad, dont provide anything they promise
I heard about SKIO Music from Google and in theory it sounded great, I signed up straight away with the hopes of improving a little. A question was sent to support for clarification at the end of August 2019, still no response till this day.
I purchased credits to receive an insight report, again this wasn't received, nearly 4 months after and they just keep amending the deadline date indefinitely.
So I decide to just call it quits and cancel my subscription, nearly 24 hours after cancelation I receive an E-mail to ask my why I had unsubscribed !!! which just about says it all really. Maybe respond to your customers in the first instance rather than waiting until they unsubscribe to make contact. I think this company is as close to a legal scam as you can get, avoid !!

"Insight Reports" are a joke.
After several attempts at getting an "insight report" I gave up. I had 300 credits (new system) and 50 credits were used to get said report. The website kept on saying a date when the report would be created but every time it hit that date it would change to another, future date.
The idea of the site seems sound. However, owning the "remixes" after a competition seems a bit much. Effectively, an artist would have access to thousands of remixes and after the blood, sweat and tears of each user, having created their masterpiece, has subsided and they haven't won then they have lost a possible track that they could have used in the future. Also, the fact that (in my case) they didn't receive a report (or received one but without any comments on improvements or defence of why the "score" given is what it is) makes the whole process annoying to say the least. I find the comments / scores (when reported) differ greatly in respect to who actually reviews said competition entry. In one case an "intern" scored a remix and gave a relatively low score for mastering, however, LANDR was used and they are one of the sponsors for the competitions. This seems to contradict somewhat.
Anyway, I suppose you could say I'm a disgruntled user. And that would be correct but I do feel that the whole SKIO system is not the greatest and I certainly will be giving my opinion when asked in the UK music circles to which I am privy.
