Buyer beware.

I have recently joined TP so you may as well be warned about this dishonest company.

I was delayed by several weeks abroad when flights were cancelled during Coronavirus. I immediately contacted skypark via email.and my daughter phoned them from Chester to inquire about retrieving the car from Ringway.

She was assured that the operation had closed for the lockdown and there would not be a penalty for late retrieval. She could have picked up the car at this point.

When I eventually arrived home eight weeks late the car was not there and had been driven to Liverpool. I was advised to take a taxi to Speke, £85, and that they would reimburse.

I waited an hour at their Liverpool unit before "Steve", the Manchester manager arrived with a gypsy in tow, evidently some oppo from the Liverpool depot.

He initially tried to charge me for gen weeks overstay, until I directed him to his calculator and the correct timescale. I did not receive a refund on the cab fare, I think he offered me £25 and cried a little about going bankrupt and having to move all the cars. Skypark Manchester are still doing business and as far as I can ascertain never ceased.

In short, I was stranded at Skypark Liverpool, middle of nowhere with no alternative but to pay over £300 to get my keys.

I have not so far taken court action but this is pending legal.advice. Emails to skypark are not answered.

Booked for parking and took out the optional fee to cover cancellation due to booking during the COVID pandemic. Flight was cancelled so requested refund twice by email and both times email ignored. I know who I won’t be using when things pick up again. See you in court sky park I definitely won’t let you get away with this

Good until Damage done to car then - read on

Parked with them for 1 year, all good UNTIL damage done to rear bumper in Manchester park - took 4 months to get them to look at it. Then went to Liverpool park more damage done but to front this time. Their workshop looked at the car this time and the MD refused to repair either sets of damage. Now in fairness this is an old car but the damage was done on their premises - very surprised at their attitude did not inspire customer confidence at all, check your car well when you leave. I for one will NOT be using them again.

Very Good

I used the SkyPark facility at Wythenshaw in September 2017 and was impressed with the service. The staff were efficient and courteous. Transfers to and from Manchester airport were hassle free and about 10-15 minutes.
The facility is in the upper levels of a multi-storey car park next to Asda in Wythenshaw town centre. I paid £57 for a weeks parking (weds 20th to weds 27th September) which I didn't think was too bad. I usually use Jetparks 1 or Jetparks 2 at Styal but they were quoting over £80 for the week.
I would definitely use Skypark again when flying from Manchester airport.

Do not trust them

First time i used sky park in october for a long weekend. We left the car which is a nissan juke on the 21/10/15 until our return on the 25/10/15. We landed early about 8:30pm we arrived at the car park.

We quoted my name and they highlighted a sheet to say ive come to collect it however the person dealing with me made it quiet clear that hed lost my keys from the first 5 mins of being sat in the office. He was still seeing customers in and out. Rolling on to 10pm when the guy phoned the manager and basically said he has to sort it. He said its one of the guys that have probaby left the keys in another car and well have a look. We thought fine as i was getting frustrated half past 11 he came down and said im sorry but the top floor has no light and i cant see in cars. Myself and my partner had to use our torches on our phone to look through cars for my keys.

We had no luck! I was so angrey as you would expect they had lost my car keys!. There proceedure was they check they have the keys 48 before you come back and move the car to the first floor for when you come back to make it easier. So this means my car keys were not seen in the previous 48hrs. After have to clam myself down they offered to take us all the way back to west yorkshire in one of there shuttle vans carless! As i had work the next day i was furious.

We did not get back until 1am to then recieve a call that my car keys were behind the computer in an open office!. Not only were they missing for 48hours they was also unsecure. My car may aswell said im free take me.

After treking though back to manchester then back again to west yorkshire it was 4:30am we were unfit to drive let alone go to work the next day!

After complaining they managed to refund my 23 pound however i said this was not good enough they did not follow procedure the service is nothing like described on the website and 23 wilm not cover both the working days we lost and the holiday they ruiened they are now blocking contact with me and have not been intouch for 2 weeks! .

Poor poor service - will not be returning and i aim to make sure that all customer know how shoddy there service is!!!
