We recently required a measured building survey of a dome-shaped structure, and Sky Scan Surveys were absolutely brilliant. Their use of cutting-edge drone equipment effectively captured the intricate measurements of the dome. This was a massive advantage over traditional methods or laser scanners, which wouldn't have been effective in capturing the complex curves.

Sky Scan Surveys didn't just stop at capturing the data. They also delivered the final model in a STEP format, unlike some 3D model formats that only store basic surface information. STEP files encompass the entire model's data, including all the precise details and features, ensuring maximum accuracy when transferring the model between different software programs.

In a nutshell, Sky Scan Surveys were hugely impressive. Their innovative use of drones and their commitment to detail with the STEP file format make them the perfect choice for anyone needing surveys of complex structures.

The company had been recommended by a former colleague working for MACE. He told me how much he was able to rely on the company's delivered product to calculate the scale and pre-plan their new project's ground works and price it accordingly. Boy oh boy, was he right? Our project required precise topography and 3D modelling of existing protected structures and also some amazing drone video footage of the natural features the finished project will use in our surrounding to attract our target clientele. The delivery was fast, professional, and very reasonably priced. Impressive new technology. I will surely recommend to anyone who need an efficient, reliable, and accurate solution in construction.

We recently had Sky Scan Surveys and Paul come to our construction site to create a 3D model/digital twin. We are building multi-story apartments, office buildings, and a commercial center, on Manchester City Center and the model has been incredibly helpful.

Paul was very professional and easy to work with. He took the time to understand our needs and explain the process to us. He was also very flexible and accommodating, and he worked around our schedule.

The model that Paul created is incredibly detailed and accurate. It allows us to see the entire construction site from a bird's eye view, and we can zoom in to see individual details.
