We visited the Meadowhall branch today. We ordered boneless chicken, which turned out to chicken nuggets. We thought it would be chicken strips. The first problem was when it came, I dipped one into the garlic mayo, but I had to spit it out. Because unbelievably it was hot ( heat wise). It was that hot that it burnt my bottom lip. Then we had to wait over 10 mins for it to cool down. Even then it was too hot. When I tried to take apart one into small pieces a hot oil squirted out. I appreciate KFC isn’t healthy but this is far worse.
Having spent many years in catering, I think it was warmed out in a microwave. That’s why it was extremely hot.It was chewy and tasteless . And wasn’t impressed using kitchen rolls as serviette . Will never go there again for definite.

I visited the Marylebone branch which is situated on Edgware Road W1 . I puchased a meal the wings had blood 🩸 and smelt raw I got terrible food poisoning as a result of this meal when I brought to the attention of Gabriel the store manager I was treated with distain no apology no advice rude attitude and completely disregard. No customer service or any type. Of professionalism please Avoid Avoid Avoid also is completely tasteless kfc or McDonald is 100 💯 better and much better hygiene standards I’ve never had food poisoning from kfc or McDonald. Tables were fifthy. & they put a grimy kitchen roll on tables for you to wipe your hands .

Terrible. Extremely slow service. People who ordered after us got their food first. Shouldn’t be waiting 15 to 20 minutes for fried chicken. Don’t get why it was so busy, because after finally sitting down to eat it, it was rank!

I ordered two milkshakes, they never arrived and after an hour they messaged me saying my order was delivered. when I called slim chickens to ask where my milkshakes were the worker cut me off mid call 4 times and tried to get me to purchase more milkshakes and food instead of dealing with the situation appropriately. Overall I found customer service absolutely awful as they repeatedly tried to tell me my milkshakes were delivered even though they weren’t. DEFINITELY WONT order from here again.

We visited the Southampton store today for the very first time. We ordered our meal by scanning the code from our table, which took us to the Slim Chicken App. We can say this was easy and without hassle. We ordered our meal which was

1: Slim Chick Salad:
The food was served very quickly and was alot bigger than what is shown on the app. The salad was brought to the table by one of the store colleagues with a great smile and happy disposition. The Salad was served fresh in baskets with the chicken mixed in. The food looked great and was tasty and there certainly was enough.

2: Wrap meal. I ordered a wrap meal and I couldn't fault the look, the freshness or taste and I really wanted to order another one, just because it was so nice. The wrap was fresh, with great taste and came with a spicey bbq sauce and large fries.

With both meals we had Soft drinks "Diet Tango" and Diet Coke.

The Management:

Without a word of a lie, the management team couldn't do more to help our visit go well.

Went to Camberley store for daughter’s birthday as new to town. No change from £50 for a meal for 2 adults and 1 teen therefore Expected more quality for the price paid. 1x meal delayed from the first 2, when it came the buffalo burger was smothered in sauce . Chicken wings and tenders not indifferent to KFC or any local independent chicken shop, infact no better taste and very greasy. I won’t be returning again. Sauces were nice but probably the only good feature

The all-female staff were friendly and polite to me when I went in and they took my food order. Thereafter they shouted and laughed with each other in full hearing of diners. A member of staff approached my left shoulder and asked, "Is everything okay"? I did not have the resolve to object, and I am unused to having a service person address me at my left shoulder. I left food because I was developing a headache.

I really like the chips and the amazing service

I have had Slim Chickens so so many times and have never had any issue ordering the chicken wings with my child being allergic to milk. The Allergen information clearly states that the wings do not contain milk. We always make the staff aware of the allergy and we've been told which food that we can and can't order. My child has never had any reactions with the chicken wings.

However, today, out of no where, the staff in Slim Chickens Trinity Leeds refused to take my order, even though I had told them we had no problem with their food. The manager was so rude and insisted she wouldn't serve me after making me wait standing by the counter for more than 15 minutes! No apology, nothing. Shocking behaviour! How come you don't know what's in your own product?

First time in Slim Chickens, and probably never again. The overall flavour was an intense taste of Salt on the chicken, ruining what was potentially good chicken. Fries were JUST ok. Best bit were the Milkshakes but they were extra on a meal price. £30.90 for 2 substandard meals - no thanks.

Excellent and wonderful customer service from team leader Jade..She made my visit very pleasant and was so helpful in making choices for me in what I wanted.She came out of till area to help me decide.. Please pass on my thanks.i will definitely be returning.kind regards Adrian

Branagh changed our visit from a one star to a five star by using common sense and fantastic customer service

We were visiting family in Plymouth and my grandaughter suggested slim chicken for lunch. We always thought you would never beat KFC but my god the food here is delicious. There were five of us and had various different meals I thought I would try to chicken in this wrap.it was so tasty. There is no slim chicken anywhere near us to visit.the lady who served us was lovely and when the food came out there was loads for everyone and not a bad price for it all.would be the first place I would visit when I come again.such a shame there isn’t one in Oxfordshire.

Never got to taste the chicken at Wembley I live local and spent 20 mins trying to get to the machine to order food and it only allowed meals. I didn’t want a drink or fries so I went to the front and after 10 mins was told on event days you had to have fries and a drink.
How pathetic is that. Slim chicken and you can’t just buy chicken.

Brilliant customer service at the Basildon branch for my son’s birthday.
Fresh food, and speedy service. Definitely worth a visit!!
