Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Was sent a defected item. The socks purchased were sewn with defected heels… looked like I was wearing square socks when out on.. didn’t hug the heel at all… and can’t even talk about the rubbing while hiking and running. They said that they guarantee their product. When reached out they said to send the product back and pay for shipping out of my own pocket…why am I paying to ship back an item that was defected. I did not pay for a defected item. Awful customer service. No resolution and a waste of my money.

No Refund for Returned Item - Be Aware

I purchased a Smartwool Anorak for my wife that was the wrong size, it is a lovely product, so I ordered her a size up and made the return as per the Smartwool Canada instructions (Neon DB). Despite the fact that Canada Post tracking shows they received the received the returned item January 2nd, I have received no acknowledgement of the receipt and NO REFUND. They do not respond to emails, and they do not answer their phones. My advice is, do not but Smartwool online!

Don’t buy Smartwool

If you’ve found yourself reading this before making a purchase from smartwool, save yourself and don’t do it. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. I was sent the wrong item and they didn’t make it right, nor did they take accountability for the mistake they made. I’m so insanely disappointed because I’ve always loved their gear. Although the warranty complaints are just as bad. Shame on you Smartwool, it’s surprising you don’t hold yourself to higher standards. Do not recommend.
