Companies House registers them as in liquidation. Phonecall with advice bureau reccommends speaking to the insolvency service 0300 6780015.

I visited the basset down site after getting no response on phone or e-mail. They don't exist anymore and no signs indicating if they have moved. Don't be taken in by Web site!

Purchased a moon gate 8 weeks ago but nothing arrived tried to email them but comes back unable to deliver & no telephone no to call them on PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, I now have a charge back with my credit card company as feel I have been conned

Ordered a sheet of mdf in January and have never received it. And now cannot get any communication from the company

Ordered a moon gate in May and still not had delivery over 4 months later. I have tried countless times to contact them via phone, email and WhatsApp and no response. Now in contact with my credit card company to try and get the money back.
It looks like I'm not the only one disappointed with their service, do a quick google of reviews for Swindon Wood Supplies or Smileswoodcraft LTD (they changed their name a few months ago probably due to the bad reviews)

I ordered a porch in April 2021. Impossible to contact them. I sent a tracked letter to their address demanding a response. This was returned by the Post Office as unable to deliver as they had done a bunk. Their website has disappeared and replaced by one called GoDaddy from the US which seems to have nothing to do with any wood business.

Can’t put 0 stars so have to give 1 although that’s do not deserve that! 4th April ordered & paid for gates. Many many phone messages & emails left but zero response from them. They have taken mine & looks like many other people’s hard earned money & not provided the goods, trading now as Swindon wood supplies. Disgusted! Getting in touch with trading standards now.

Same as others, ordered goods in April, been chasing heard nothing. Personally I would not order from this firm or any firm the directors are linked to, have now asked my credit card company for reimbursement.

Do NOT buy from this company or any company with a director called Simon Iles. I ordered and paid for goods in March 21, still not received and a CCJ Application sent to the companies registered office returned stating company not there! Swindon Wood Supply Ltd is the same company.

AVOID!!!

Ordered gate through OnBuy at start of May and paid through Paypal. Company called a week later to advise that they had fallen out with OnBuy due to difficulties retrieving payments, so received a Paypal refund and then called them to make a payment over the phone to ensure that the order continued (mindful of 8 week lead time).

Gate due end of June but heard nothing so tried calling but no answer, no call returned and also no responses to email form on website or Whatsapp. Have now gone through our back to obtain a refund...

According to Companies House website the company changed its name from SmilesWoodCraft Ltd to Swindon Wood Supply Ltd. However, there is also Swindon Wood Supplies Ltd which is a separate legal entity with a different director (registered in a different unit but on same industrial estate as Swindon Wood Supply Ltd) - however, the phone number on their website is the same as the phone number on the Smileswoodcraft Facebook page so clearly its the same organisation in a slightly different guise. It's these contact details that we tried to use as the smileswoodcraft website no longer appears to be active.

Purchased a gate in March, a few reply emails then nothing, have had to go through my bank to get my money back. DO NOT trust this company.

Ordered Products in March. No response to emails. Call. Etc. Sending recorded delivery now and advice to go through small claims court and Trading Standards. Changing your name won’t help. This is really poor. I’d understand if at the very least they’d respond but nothing and I live too far away to drive there. What a joke of a company. Avoid

Ordered 3 items and paid £600 in Dec 2020 - strung along by them since, and gave them the benefit of the doubt. They are now not responding by email or picking up the phone. They changed their name to SWINDON WOOD SUPPLIES on 21st April 2021 and all their details can be found by googling both companies, and checking their details at companies house. I have been advised to send a letter stating a date by which they must deliver the goods or give a complete refund. If they fail to respond, they will be in breach of contract and trading standards will give further advice. I suggest anyone who is in the same position as myself, does the same. I have sent the letter to both the original and current company address. Good luck.

Deplorable service. Fence panels ordered in May and still not received in July. Zero response to my emails and phonecalls. Unscrupulous company. Strongly recommend no one purchases from them. They need investigated. I for one will be taking further action against them

Ordered a lean-to pergola in April from this company. A couple of weeks later I emailed asking when it was being delivered. Received response saying it would be between six and eight weeks. Six weeks came and went but gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited another two weeks. Since then any email I’ve sent has not been replied to including my threat of cancellation and getting refund via Section 65. Phone call to the only number shown is met with voicemail saying the mailbox is full. So now process is in place for the bank to take it further. Their website and Facebook page have been closed down but I see they are now trading another a new name, Swindon Wood Supplies.

DO NOT BUY! Ordered a pergola back in April. Understood the waiting time (8 weeks) money taken 2 days after ordering. Now over 8 weeks and the company has since shut its shop with "OnBuy" where I had ordered it from and according to Company House have changed their name to Swindon Wood Supply so id advise you do not buy from them either! No communication. No direct email to get hold of them. Nothing! I even sent a message through their new website of "Swindon Supply" and have had no response!

Awful, just awful.
Ordered double archway in February, via OnBuy.
Three times I messaged them as I neared delivery date and every time the order was pushed back a month.
Latest attempts at comms were ignored, then the money suddenly returns to my account (in June).
Completely unable to reach them and every attempt at comms ignored.
Garden project ruined.
PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY (AND SWINDON WOOD SUPPLIES). You will be let down, like so many people clearly have.

Don't trust them at all. Multiple emails to get my refund and cancel order.
Have called most of the day today to be told message service is full.
Was told they had a PayPal problem so was refunded, but then paid by my debit card was suppose to be with me by end of may I have chased and chased.
Now gone to trading standards, will keep calling and emailing. Lady at Cs was lovely but the rest of the company quite frankly sucks.
I want my refund and I would not trust this company ever again. I'm now owed in excess of £200 for a pergola I wanted to enjoy 😡😡😡😡

Very poor. Paid for a moon gate cost £320.00 via PayPal. Company lied about not being able to access payment and asked for a further payment before shipping. Now I am unable to contact Smileswoodcraft and no moon gate! Having to arrange refund via PayPal protection, which is lucky bu time consuming. AVOID SMILESWOODCRAFT and Swindon Wood Supplies Ltd.
