Disgusted the cows must have been 90 years old it speaks for itself

After seeing The Fat Butcher offers on Facebook I placed an order. It was a mixed bag. The sirloin steak was good as was the braising steak and diced beef, however the pork loin fillets were tasteless, the mince was average and chicken fillets were also nothing to write home about. All in all I think I will stick with my local butcher who may be a little more expensive but you are guaranteed top quality meat.

The Fat Butcher only has a 4 star food hygiene rating. Not good.

Have been ordering meat boxes since lockdown have had only short delivery twice but as soon as I called the missing meat was delivered the next day.I have found the meat to be of good quality and happy with the deliveries.

Really poor quality meat with lots of fat , mince - full of fat
Diced steak - lots of fat still on it
Sausages - were ok but really salty and shrunk.
Gammon - 50% fat
Bacon - never appeared, eventually got a refund after hounding them about it.

I would never order from them again.

Please never order from here, no idea of timescales and Everytime you contact them it's changed again, I. E website says 2-4 days they then say 3-5 days (it doesn't mention anything in regards to weekends or Bank Holidays) my order would be with me in 6 days / 9 days depending on how you look at it. It would of been more dignified to say I'm really sorry we are stretched as we are so busy instead of blatently lying, and I wouldn't of minded you would respect the honesty.

Ordered meat from above 16 04 2020. Order confirmed and payment taken same day. But no indications of when order to be delivered 22 04 2020 or thereabouts my wife asked when we might get delivery. Smiths said PM them. No reply. 23 04 2020. Reading other customers who ordered after us had a delivery I took a hand and demanded a reply or I'd take out a claim against Smith's. They replied the delivery would be Saturday. But this had nothing to do with my threat. Saturday arrived and as the day dragged on it became apparent no delivery would take place. At around 9 pm I PM ,d the company. Shock horror they replied. But said we'd have to wait until Mon to see what had happened.

This was unacceptable to me I continued to press for refund.Smths said they'd not answer me any more. I then filled their inbox with spam. Eventually they authorised a refund Sun morning. Which I knew was possible

It comes to something when you have to resort to these tactics to obtain a refund. DO NOT use this firm

We got our order last Thursday we have only tried 1 item from our meat pack it was diced beef it was delicious.would definitely recommend anyone to buy from yous 10 out of10 guy's and my hubby love's it to and we will order again

I have ordered many times all my order has been correct beautiful meat on the day time and very helpful staff and friendly delivery driver

Bought a steak pack from this online butcher £45 was excellent value for money.

Got 12 steaks all were amazing have now ordered protein pack at £45 looking forward to my next delivery.
