We love our sofa from sofasofa. It’s great quality and really stylish.

They contact you ahead of time to make sure you’re happy with your delivery date and the delivery drivers are really helpful and friendly.

They had to take a diversion when delivering our sofa as a van had turned over on its side and they explained it all on the phone and apologised profusely (even though it wasn’t their fault at all). Couldn’t recommend this company more.

Beautiful sofa for a great price. Delivery was nice and easy to organise and company phoned to check which is a nice personal touch. Would definitely recommend and order again from you guys. Great job! 😊

We have two Albany sofas , when they were delivered the drivers were meant to fit the covers and didn’t , leaving my daughter to do it! I complained at the time but nothing happened. It’s poor quality , I’ve washed the covers ( the reason we chose this item ) at 20 degrees and it’s faded so very badly. I have complained & sent photographs and now we need to bag the covers up so that they can be collected and ‘tested’ under the guarantee! This was an expensive purchase and they look just awful

Avoid This Company – Unethical & Unprofessional

My original review was deleted because the company blackmailed me into removing it by withholding my refund until I complied—absolutely disgusting behavior. I am now reposting my review so potential customers know the truth.

After I removed my review, they went even further and demanded that I provide a written undertaking promising never to post another negative review about them—ever—before they would release my refund. Their exact words:

"Please provide your written undertaking that no further reviews will be posted about our business now or in the future and your refund will be issued forthwith to bring this very unfortunate situation to a close.

The Original Issue

Ordered a footstool, waited weeks and missed all the other sales.

The item was supposed to be 44cm high but arrived at just 27cm, making it unusable.

I contacted them, and they admitted a mistake. They called me to say the correct one was already at their depot and would be sent.

The next day, they changed their mind, realizing they would lose money. Instead of honoring the agreement, they refused to send the correct item and canceled my order, claiming dimensions are just ‘an estimate.’

Customer Service – Rude & Manipulative

When I called them, they became nasty and defensive. The representative falsely accused me of being aggressive and terminated the call—a classic tactic dodgy sales teams use to shut down complaints.

Delivery Issues – Unprofessional & Unhygienic

The delivery driver turned up smoking inside the back of the van.

He flicked a cigarette nub onto my path and stank of smoke, leaving my house smelling of cigarettes after delivery.

When I complained, their response was dismissive:
"There should be no reason for the furniture or packaging to emit a lingering smell of smoke in view of its very limited exposure, and this should have dissipated very quickly."
Shocking.

Poor Quality Workmanship

Buttons on the Chesterfield-style furniture were completely wonky—this was my second time receiving a poorly finished product from them.

For the price they charge, the quality is shockingly bad.

Final Thoughts

This company uses blackmail tactics to suppress negative reviews, refuses to honor agreements, delivers subpar products, and treats customer complaints with contempt. If a business truly stood by its quality and service, it wouldn’t need to silence customers.

I strongly urge others to avoid SofaSofa—don’t risk dealing with a company that values profit over honesty and fairness.
I've filed a complaint with the correct authorities and hope they're exposed. I wouldn't trust the reviews as clearly they blackmail people to remove negative ones.
I've reported them to trust pilot, the CMA and Trading standards.

Having visited the showroom the staff on hand were knowledgeable and helpful but there was absolutely no pressure selling. A relaxing and positive experience. From choosing our furniture to delivery.
Having placed the order the communication was brilliant and we were able to negotiate a day that was convenient and work for us.
The delivery drivers were out standing and exceptionally helpful.
Having taken delivery of our 2 sofas chair and pouffe, we are again delighted with the quality and comfort they provide.
First class service and product.

This was our second purchase from SofaSofa. Having been very pleased with our first purchase, a 3 seat sofa some years ago, we recently bought a Monaco armchair. Excellent service throughout and a very smart and comfortable chair, at a reasonable price. We live in Northumberland so can't really visit the showroom, but online descriptions, colours and measurements are very accurate - so no problems at all.

Beautiful sofas. We bought sofas with foam and feathers cushions and linen removable covers. For this specification there is nothing else on the market that comes close to the price, so we are very pleased. Delivery and customer service was great.

My chair was delivered on time, and the delivery men were very helpful in positioning it in the desired spot.
The chair looks lovely, and the fabric I chose coordinates perfectly with my decor.
The seat is a little firmer than I expected, despite choosing the feather and foam combination, however I don’t mind a firm seat and all in all I am very happy with my purchase.

Excellent product and service, highly recommend

We ordered a bespoke fabric and couldn’t have been more delighted by the process. We were kept informed every step of the way and had exact fabric samples sent to us from the batch to be used. The delivery was speedy and the delivery crew were excellent. We have bought sofas from Sofa Sofa previously so we know how good the quality is and these pieces of furniture are outstanding. What a great choice we made when we shopped there. Thank you again.

Although the arm chair is correct, the colour is different from the other furniture we have purchase before from Sofa Sofa of the same colour name. The delivery men said it was because we had washed our covers, but the tone is different.

This company make good products at a reasonable price. I would go as far as to say that they are excellent, very well made. We had 2x3seater and a two seater for our sitting room. They must be about 10 years old and the cushions never go flat. They still look new. ( I don't have any dogs or cats).
Recently, in October, I bought a two seater for my conservatory and its beautiful. You are spoilt for choice in colour and fabrics. A friend once said that I was taking a risk buying from Wales when I live in Yorkshire but I have never been disappointed. I bought the recent sofa in a sale and saved twenty per cent .

I was unable to visit the showroom but I had a video call with Christine who showed me the range I was interested in, and even lay down in the settees so I could gauge their length in real life!

Ordering was a doddle. I was able to specify the earliest date I could accept delivery, and the whole experience was painless.

I'm really pleased with my settee, chair and footstool. They look to be very well made, and are very comfortable. I would definitely shop at SofaSofa again.

My new sofa is perfect. It is exactly what I wanted and is really comfortable too. This is the 4th sofa I have purchased from Sofa Sofa over the years and they have all been very well made and durable.
