It’s always daunting committing to outlaying a large amount of money but Rahi and his team have been a pleasure to deal with. Not in the slightest bit pushy. Were able to fit 8 panels when other suppliers said they could only fit 5! No hard sales pitch just honest information that I could take away and read. So far so good after installation today.

After many major companies refusing to install solar panels on my roof (because I have fixed tiles and they prefer easy jobs), solar4good happily installed the panels on my roof which required twice the effort. Very professional team.

As always Edward was quick and efficient in dealing with my enquiry.
He Introduced me to a new system engineer Rommel who then took over with the enquiry and took this to resolution.
The system fault took a week to resolve which wasn't too pleasing but I'm happy it finally did get fixed. This is the reason I scored 4/5 stars, if the issue had been resolved within 4 days the score would have risen to 5/5.
As a side note: A bit of additional information on the cause of the fault would also be welcome just for some background knowledge and historical record keeping.

So far so good! Solar4Good has been on the ball. They have been a great team to work with and at a very competitive price. The team who fitted the system were extremely good and very tidy in their work. They were very efficient and concerned about leaving the house in the state they found it. I found this very refreshing for today’s workmen. I’d have them back anytime.

Installation of solar panels and battery and EV charger, October 2025. Instruction were given for Installation of Enphase unit bird nets. Company had to return to install. Sought certificates and guarantees of installation of products including electric installation. Six months later no documents provided for Panels, battery, EV charger and inverter. Then noted electricity provider not crediting surplus electricity, appears Solar4good had not completed paperwork with elecrticity provider. And now, May 2026, have to restart process but as consumer without documentation from installer makes this long process.

Our PV solar system went live a few days ago and it is very satisfying to say that its performance has blown away all our expectations. We live in the North West Highlands and the system was spec’d with short winter days in mind, so it has 40 PV panels on the roof and 3x12kWh batteries. When the sun is shining we can easily generate north of 85kWh per day but, even more amazingly, on the dullest, heavily overcast, rainy day it still managed to generate 11.5kWh! I find that extraordinary and it certainly bodes well for the winter months. The affect on our grid electricity costs has been dramatic. We are an all electric 4-bedroom household and our previous monthly bill was £370, but from the moment of switch-on our grid charges dropped to zero and have stayed there ever since, and I expect they will remain at zero for the next 4 or 5 months. Woo-hoo!! Prior to fitting solar we decided that our roof needed to be replaced and this was handled by Solar4Good’s Scottish partner Eco-Installations who replaced the roof and fitted the panels in exactly 5 days. The electrician then took 2 days to install all the control equipment and batteries so the total time for roof replacement and solar installation was just 7 days. Lastly, as we tend to suffer outages throughout the year, our system includes an intelligent switch which detects any grid outage, isolates the house, and then powers the house from energy stored in the batteries. It was exremely satisfying to see the house disconnected from grid during the testing and watch the system automatically transitioning to the batteries.

Bottom line - PV has come of age since the last time I investigated solar, and the system provide by Solar4Good has exceeded all expectations.

We recently had a solar and battery system installed by Solar4Good and have been very pleased with the whole experience. From the beginning, Rahi was excellent to deal with — he took the time to discuss a couple of different options with us, with no hard sales pressure, and clearly cared about providing a good service.

The whole process was handled very efficiently, from arranging the site survey to organising the scaffolding and installation. There was one issue during the installation that was outside of the fitters’ control, but it was resolved promptly the very next day.

Communication throughout was very good, and we’re extremely happy with both the service and our purchase. We would happily recommend Solar4Good.

Had a 16 panel array fitted alongside a 10kw battery back in Feb 26. Rahi was a pleasure to deal with and was always there to answer any questions I had. Ben and Darren were excellent installers and were knowledgeable and tidy. Very pleased with how the system is running and would recommend to anyone looking to save on their energy bills in the future.

Outstanding service and a solid installation from Solar4Good!

We recently had a complete solar system installed by Solar4Good, which included 15 panels, an inverter, a battery, bird netting and all the necessary scaffolding. The price isn't the lowest but you do pay for the quality of service.
Right from the beginning, our seller Manan was absolutely brilliant. He was incredibly reliable throughout the whole process, providing honest feedback and authentic advice to ensure the final solution was absolutely perfect for our home. It is rare to find someone so genuinely invested in getting things right for the customer.

The installation itself was seamless. The installers were extremely prompt and worked to a very high standard. Furthermore, the wider company team has been incredibly helpful and accessible whenever we have needed them. They even made the DNO approval and MCS certificate processes remarkably easy to navigate.

I would highly recommend Solar4Good to anyone looking for a smooth and trustworthy solar installation. Certainly recommending them to friends and family!

Got a system installed by Solar4Good a few years back, and it worked perfectly until a few months back, when it stopped working. I then spent a very long time trying to get an engineer on site. Took me weeks, but then they sent an engineer (Rommel). Once Rommel was on site, he sorted the issue almost immediately.

Great experience overall, except the part where you have to keep calling them to accept an engineer needs to come over.

Solar 4 Good is an excellent company with great and knowledgeable workmen all know what they are doing. I highly recommend this company and the rubbish was taken away immediately. This company is excellent well organised and did the job quickly, definitely worth using
