I would give zero stars if I could.
My inverter failed in mid December, diagnosed by SE as a hardware failure after I'd reported it myself - so much for their monitoring service which only flagged the failure two weeks later. Weeks after the failure, the case status still shows that the necessary replacement inverter has not been shipped out to me. Four weeks of no production, no contact from SE or response to my various communications, no suggestion of concern or compensation.
If the part finally arrives I will then have to arrange installation through some other company - if they're as bad as SE then my system will be useless for another lengthy period, possibly permanently.
I was persuaded to use SE rather than my original idea to use GivEnergy because of supposed good design but this is the second inverter to have failed in just over a year - the first was dead on arrival - and the length of time taken to source and fit a replacement is appalling. Last time my system was out of commission for two months and it looks likely that it will be about that long this time.
Nobody in SE seems to care about the loss of supply or revenue resulting from the outage. It is impossible to make contact with anyone in the company. 0/10 for equipment quality, 0/10 for service quality, 0/10 for caring about customers. I am considering replacing the system with something more reliable and very much regretting changing my mind and buying SolarEdge in the first place.

Quick to get to chat to a person without endless unhelpful bots. Person persisted when initial attempt to solve didn’t work. And did solve the problem. Not the first time I’ve had to contact them and they have been fast to respond every time.

Updated: Great product, but requires a knowledgeable installer
The system works well under standard conditions, but it fails to handle unexpected issues, leading to a grueling recovery process. My battery dropped below the minimum charge threshold and entered a 'deep sleep' mode. Now, the inverter shows an error, production is zero, and the system doesn't even recognize the batteries. My installer has been struggling to restart the system for over a week.
SolarEdge support has been nonexistent—it’s shameful. Given the high price point, I expected a premium experience, but the reality is a lack of smart functions and very limited user control (only four presets). With so many better alternatives for shaded areas today, there’s no reason to choose SolarEdge. Avoid them if you can.
UPDATE:
Shortly after my initial review, I was contacted by the SolarEdge global support team. They performed a remote analysis and quickly identified a faulty DC-DC module within the inverter. They promptly sent a replacement unit, which is now installed and working perfectly. It turns out my initial frustration was largely due to my local installer’s lack of familiarity with SE systems and their support portal. I’m happy to say the system is now performing as expected, and the global support was excellent.

system quality is fine but don’t look for support
Solar edge system quality is fine but support is non existent. Only way to contact them is through their chat which refuses to recognise my inverter despite using the Solaredge chat app to read the QR code and by manually entering it. Even going in through the app, the system noted my inverter serial number correctly but then says it cannot validate.

Again I’m writing a negative review of Solar Edge because this is the only way I can get anything solved with them. You are unable to speak to a person. You are only able to “chat” with someone. We recently changed our internet supplier. Everything in our home transferred easily to it except our Solar Edge app. After “chatting” for a good period of time they were able to tell me we were definitely producing energy which was a plus. They could also see that my personal info was correct. But what they couldn’t do was connect my new internet supplier because the SSID number reverts back to the original owner of 2017. I tried manually to change it but the area for me to enter my SSID number is grayed out. Solar Edge told me I needed to contract my installer. So now another bill with my installer if I can reach them because they have closed down their local office. You would think this would be a simple fix.
FOLLOW-UP. Still no solution to my problem. But I do get a message from them every 3 days asking if my problem has been solved. And I reply the same thing every time that Solar Edge says they cannot solve the problem. And I cannot get my service company to respond. Anyways I would have to pay another $99 to Solar Edge for another company to service their equipment.

I have SolarEdge equipment
I have SolarEdge equipment, including an EV car charger. The equipment is approximately three years old. About four weeks ago, my car charger stopped working.
I had one of SolarEdge’s “preferred” service technicians review the issue with a SolarEdge technician over the phone, and together they identified the problem as a faulty charging cable. I was told that SolarEdge would be sending a replacement charging cord.
However, three weeks later, I received an inverter from SolarEdge instead of the required charging cable.
