Fantastic absolutely fantastic, the fastest postage ever next day, thanks so very much

My company contracted solidsolutions to complete a duct run with supports. We paid £24k, and finally got back a drawing package (after full payment) 10 weeks late. The drawing pack contained incomplete work littered with errors. The process was managed badly, calls went unanswered, or pushed sideways. The manager was only interested in further change orders. All in all it was a severely bad experience from start to finish. Solidsolutions maybe good trainers, but in my experience are extremely poor at the execution of subcontract design work. Expensive lesson learnt the hard way. Be warned.

I am a design engineer (polymath, in old language), I design electro mechanical systems.

I have only recently given up my nice angled drawing board, and have had to learn this new fangled thing called CAD. I have had some tuition from some engineers I work with, and when I was trying to learn how to use conditional mating, Solid Solutions were brilliant.

Then today I had to transfer my Solidworks from my laptop to my desktop (because my laptop could not cope with the complexity of my drawings)...... I may design operating systems and I may design the electronics that the aforementioned operating systems run on.... But I do not like using this technology, in fact I can come across as a bit of a Luddite.

However Solid Solutions have helped me through my learning experience, they have helped me with ever aspect of my journey from neolithic to modern times without criticism. (Just to mitigate the comments, I design everything from hydrogen fuel systems to cryogenic control systems and even evolutionary circuit design, so I am rather up to date), I have just spent most of that time using my drawing board and a set of Rotring pens.

But I know I need to modernise my drawing techniques. These people are the ones to to help you do this... They are truly awesome

There is no question that is too complex, and for people like me who are just getting into the information age, there is no question that is too simple.

They are just very nice people who give excellent advice.

Went looking for a 3d Printer, whilst browsing the site got contacted by one of the reps via their web chat. Not pushy, helpful and keen to help. Offered a deal and generously waived delivery fees (was an expensive printer so appreciated the gesture). Made a good pitch regarding the after sales care/support and was happy to talk about my experience and intended use. Over all a pleasant encounter and helped secure the purchase.
