Booked la pinta villa cala d`or 23/05/25 7 days pool was dirty green slime on tiles pool man cleaned it with rubbing tiles with dirty towel kneeling on side of pool.The green slime went back into pool as he rinsed out the towel in pool. Shower in bathroom rubber seal broken with age bathroom flooded due to this.

The support team have been extremely unhelpful and have sent me a continuous cycle of contradictory messages, misinformation, and administrative errors clearly indicating a lack of proper training and an unacceptable level of operational incompetence. To be told that they are a small company does not excuse the repeated mistakes and confusion caused throughout this process.
It all started with an incorrect price being displayed on the website, as a first time villa booker I was not aware of the pricing and just thought it was a special deal, as when I looked into the villa itself it hasn’t been built yet, and there will be construction work during our stay.
But I then received an email explaining the mistake, but it was addressed to the wrong person entirely.
Following that, I was contacted with a message stating that assistance would be provided to help find an alternative holiday, and that the commercial team would be involved to support with the pricing discrepancy.
However, this was immediately contradicted by a subsequent email advising that, once again, incorrect information had been provided and that assistance could not, in fact, be offered.
I then received another email referring to their terms and conditions, suggesting that I should proceed with a cancellation.
Shortly after, I received a booking confirmation email. Lewis had previously stated that, if a confirmation was received, support could be offered.
Yet again, this was followed by another email claiming that the confirmation was an automated message and sent in error, and that the booking was in fact being cancelled.
To date, no official cancellation invoice or documentation has been provided.
I have also booked flights for this holiday as I received the confirmation, but was told that I should not of done this and tried offering me other villas for the dates which were way above our budget (didn’t even get asked what our budget was).
I have asked to escalate this situation but have since been ignored.

we stayed at villa pletessa nova.
Unfortunately there was quite a few disadvantages. There was many large ant infestations, even without any food laying out, the ants would somehow crawl out of the walls in giant groups and climb everywhere in swarms. The air con in the main bedroom didn’t work whatsoever and it was 35+ degrees, it was quite hard to breathe. So if you are staying in this room i reccomend buying a fan. The fire alarm battery was dead the entire time we were here, and we reached out many times and got no response whatsoever, they also told us someone came out to fix it when this wasn’t the case and it was still beeping for hours on end for the whole stay. There was also bugs in the kettle when turned on so we had to boil water in a pan. Lots of light bulbs were also broken. In the kitchen giant swarms of flies crawl in through the tiny window gap and crawl everywhere. The beds were also very hard. I think that the bottom of all of the walls need to be sealed up, the same with the windows, to stop all of the massive infestations of all sorts of bugs.

We have used Solmar villas approximately 5 times before. We have rented the same villa as we love the position. However this time we noticed it was getting very tired and when we notified the agent with an email and phone call only part of our issue was addressed. There were no sharp knives and those did arrive but no one came to change light bulbs so in one bedroom there was never a main light. There was no umbrella so the afternoons were very hot. We had an ant issue so we bought a spray and sorted that out ourselves. No extras like Salt and pepper and 2 dishwasher pods for a 2 week stay. Solmar Villars I think for the price you could do better.

Just returned from 3 weeks in Villa Angeliki in Corfu. The booking process and arrangements were all fine, and they booked a transfer for a relative arriving separately late at night. We loved our stay there.
The only reason for 4 not 5 stars is that on a Sunday we woke up to find the water was off. We had plenty of bottled water for drinking but no toilet or shower. I rang the Solmar emergency number at 08.30 (06.30 in the UK) and the agent said she would inform the people in resort. 4 hours later I rang again and the same thing - they said they were contacting the resort team. A man then came, who said the pump was broken. His English was limited but we understood that all the plumbing supply shops are closed on Sunday. He went off and with no contact still from Solmar I rang again after another 2 hours. This time the agent said he was escalating this and the villa manager would be in touch. She rang at about 8pm and was making an arrangement to give us another nearby villa for the night. As she was talking the same plumbing guy appeared, fiddled about with something and the water came on! Apparently he bypassed our system with water from the villa next to our which he also owned.
However, our issue was the total lack of communication from Solmar. The villa manager was not even on Corfu! But ‘I am in Greece!’ Very helpful
The next day she did ring and apologise and they credited us with €100 for a meal. Someone should have rung to keep us updated- a whole day was wasted and we had booked an excursion for the evening which we had to cancel as we didn’t know what was happening

I wrote the below review yesterday however today I will say that everything has now been rectified our rep Elena worked tirelessly all day and sorted everything going above and beyond to sort each issue we had she was amazing and we are grateful for all her hard work she has completely restored our faith in Solmar villas we would just suggest that they get a WhatsApp helpline which would make things much easier for their customers
Currently on holiday in turkey have contacted solmar villas numerous times as villa has no sheets on 2 of the beds, dirty towels, showers have scalded my daughter and are covered in limescale we have no gas to cook with electric keeps tripping, plates are all chipped with sharp edges, kitchen is not fully equipped as stated with even basic equipment making self catering almost impossible, 7 phone calls not once has the in resort rep got in touch even though we’ve been promised she would and not heard back from solar apart from a generic response saying they are prioritising people who are booked within next 14 days what about the people already on holiday!!!!!!

Second time we have been with this company,and I think that due to it's spread of properties the reviews will of course be mixed accordingly.Villa location excellent and as described in the brochjure,I think 6 guests would be pushing it a bit but lovely for 2.Villa was small but well appointed,2 bottles of wine as a welcome,very clean and well stocked with loo rolls,real coffee,plenty of cutlery and glasses,dishawasher tablets and washing macnine powder.The rep. on the ground Guilia was absolutely brilliant,minor queries were answered swiftly and positively.She is on her game and was keen for us to be happy and she really made the holiday special.Pool is on the smallish side and equipment is looking a little tired,but the price was fair so....

Absolutely no customer service whatsoever, called 5 times re ants infestation and no one came out, now on 2nd day of not sleeping. Villa Tian in lanzarote, it's beautiful but can't enjoy because of ants and no one willing to help us, horrible holiday so far and will think twice before booking another one of their villas. I'm not daft I know these things can occur but to have reported 5 times , each time being told someone will be in touch is shocking. The 5th time I've had ants crawling on me. Not happy at all, holiday was not cheap
UPDATE- Villa Manager visited and went over everywhere with spray and profusely apologised, the previous visitors had left tons of food out in wardrobes, furniture, tables , everywhere, showed me proof. Hopefully that's the end of it

This is the first time we’ve used Solmar villas, I found them through jet2 but decided to book the villa direct as it suited us better, the service has been excellent with initially speaking with Abby to get further information and all correspondence before we arrived, villa Zurbaran 4 in Nerja was perfect and even better than the pictures, we are hoping to go again in September and also look out for some great offers, thanks Tanya

Solmar Villas were so very good at keeping us informed of the booking process and giving us all the information we needed about our villa .
They contacted us by email and text too offering help and guidance through there concierge team who were happy to help us with add ons during our stay and they went out of their way to help us with an extraordinary request. I can’t praise them more.
Our chosen villa , Stone Cottage in Nikassi , Corfu was an absolute delight and highly recommended.

Villa Midnight Moon in Kaštel Stari, Croatia was fabulous. But could be even better with towel rings and soap dishes provided in showers! Also future guests should be told about very tight access in a car, and 2 large,ferocious dogs in house next door which we had to walk past. Key pick up were not the norm via key box and I had to make several calls to address this with Solmar not responding to my last one. Otherwise rating would have been 5 star

If i could give them 0star I would. Never have I experience such a shocking service.
We booked with them back in may time. I rang 3 weeks later to cancel. They explained i would lose my deposit, I accepted this and was told it was cancelled and they wouldn't take any more money. Get to end of October, no contact since my contact with them early June time no further payments taken or made, no emails no nothing and they are asking me to provide details to confirm booking. I replied saying no this was cancelled back along, she replied with it's still active. I asked how when it hadnt been paid, nor had I had any emails or contact since. Again it's been left for a few weeks and now they have sent me an invoice for nearly £1200 . No explanation no contact. I have replied yet again to say it was cancelled and as agreed they can keep the deposit but I will not be sending them any more money for something that appears to be an admin issue on their part.
If money had been taken out or reminders sent then I would have assumed the holiday was still booked, but as there was no contact from.day of cancellation to now I find it hard to believe they don't have some admin issues their end.
Would not and will not ever use again nor recommend - also the generic reply of as you can see below this is not typical of peoples experiences withs us will no longer wash..... reviews below are just as bad. This unfortunately seems to be a scam company, take your money and scarper and you don't hear from them again from.people being robbed! Dirty tired villas and pools. Unsafe locations and not what was advertised.

Currently staying at Villa Alkyoni Paramonas Corfu. Solmar villas are a great company to use, very professional and helpful with any queries, would definitely use again. This villa is amazing, modern and very clean. Well equipped with a great pool and views. Remote and a poor road surface leading up to the villa but that’s the norm on the Greek Islands. A small beach and taverna only a 5 min drive away with more lively beaches and bars a 20 min drive away.

Firstly we booked this villa as a Jet 2 villa holiday and I will submit the same review to them. But I thought it was important that Solmar get the feed back too. We booked this villa for 4 adults for 2 weeks.
Pros
Beautiful garden area. Big and spacious with plenty of room around a very large lovely pool. The BBQ was also fab.
The air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms it worked in was brilliant and needed in 34° heat
The kitchen is large with everything you need to cater for yourself. 2 fridge freezers which is handy for all your drinks and ice creams.
Cons
The kitchen and living areas only have ceiling fans ( which we knew before booking) however they don't really do much except circulate hot air. So it can get very warm especially in the kitchen
We thought the washing machine was broken and spent lots of time trying to figure it out when in fact all we needed to do was slam the door hard shut. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.
The bedrooms are quite small, plenty of storage but only one side table so water, specs, phone etc had to be placed on floor beside bed. The only bedroom with a mirror is the twin room but there is no plug sockets beside it so drying hair etc is impossible in the bedrooms. There is no other mirrors in the whole villa apart from the small bathroom ones which were too far away from a plug socket to be any use. The beds are very hard.which is not a huge issue for us but might be for some. However the pillows were perfect for us
The ensuite shower room is tiny with nowhere to put toiletries except the window sill. The shower is extremely small. The doors slide open leaving a very small gap for you to wriggle through. But don't close properly. Once your in forget about anything you drop - you can't bend down to pick it up unless you are a contortionist. The shower itself however is nice and strong with lots of hot water
The bath where there is an over bath shower slants so you need to stand like your surfing. 🤣.
The pool table needs a bit of TLC also. Fine for kids but we had 2 men who take a game of pool seriously.🤣
I would say the bathrooms and bedrooms could do with a wee bit attention.
HOWEVER
We had a really nice holiday. The villa is in a quiet spot. We didn't have a car but it was a 20 min walk down into town
Would we come back....unsure, maybe if bathroom and bedroom facilities were a bit better. But Latchi is a lovely little town.

Let me just say absolutely the worst Villa I have ever stayed in, Villa is run down and very old and I would say needs a complete remodel
Showers fittings were useless and upside down which caused all the floors to get soaked. And you could only use bathroom at a time as the other shower would be cold
The villa was dirty on arrival, the bin in the kitchen had not been emptied, the single beds in the bedrooms kept on falling over as they were just on blocks of wood, the pool light was floating in the pool, the doors didn’t lock so villa was open all the time

First and last time booking with Solmar villas!!! Inaccurate description of villa.... off-road parking was a very small garage! ...not good with a large SUV!
Villas was very dated.....dirty.....leaking washing machine....broken tiles (resulting in a bit of tile stuck in foot!)...pool leaking water....nothing to cook with.....beds very hard and uncomfortable...lead missing from dvd player....ants all over kitchen when we arrived.
This was in the first 48 hours. Location was awful...nowhere near the resort....actually nearly 15kms away from the resort via an extremely busy duel carriageway.
We asked to be moved.....that took so many days to get an answer....it wasn't worth it in the end!
We were looking at booking with them again next year for a month....but I am so shocked by their treatment of us....I won't bother.
Although the area reps and the owner were nice....the powers that be in the company are more interested in making money than looking after clients.
Don't waste your money!

Excellent service and extremely helpful. I booked a villa two days prior to travelling, once booked online I called Solmar to see when I would receive the confirmation and the team member I spoke to was very helpful, confirmed the booking had completed and pushed the confirmation email through to me. The villa was exactly as described and the Solmar team were available to assist if needed.

Absolutely filthy, not fit for renting out.
Trust pilot is not allowing me to copy and paste and sadly the list is too long to type.
After staying one night under duress, we booked another Villa locally as Solmar were unwilling to help us.
All we got was a £450 refund!
Be warned Solmar put 'New to Solmar Villas' when there is obviously no good reviews. This villa was rented to us last year and is still saying New.

We have just returned from our stay in Villa Blue Beach in Lanzarote. The villa was lovely and well kitted out with all the necessary equipment including pool towels. We did have a problem with the TV in that we couldn’t get any tv channels and a message said had we connected the device? On looking behind the tv there was a mass of wires connecting various devices all plugged into a power adapter. We left things alone and watched Amazon Prime and Netflix instead.
The pool was small but adequate and if I could make one recommendation it would be to have the lava stone surrounding the pool replaced as in full sun it becomes very hot to touch and could burn a child’s feet.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would recommend this villa to other holiday makers.
