Appalling customer service - never answer the phones, never return calls / messages, and very slow on email (this is over a few days not just today). Waited at home for a delivery ordered a week ago specifically agreed for today and it hasn't showed up (no facility to track orders at all)! When I finally got through by phone they said they had no record of the order even though I had an email confirmation, and they'd taken the money!
The product is fine but delivery and customer service very poor.
I ordered 13th August and arranged delivery for 24th August. I took a day off work for the all day delivery slot (really- in these days when tracking is so easy) and by the time 3 pm came around I was losing confidence that it was going to arrive.
I rang about 10 times and kept getting through to a voice mail. Eventually, they rang back and after a bit of umming and ahhing told me that it wouldn't be arriving today because the delivery company was blocked in by a flood.
This was a complete lie, as revealed the next day when the product arrived with a label booked in for next day delivery, and the courier told me that they had only received it overnight.
Mistakes I can deal with, but lies are unforgivable. I wish I had read the other review on here before ordering with them.
I am soundproofing a guitar studio in my garage and was placing this order to test the product on one small wall before placing a much larger order for the whole garage including floor and ceiling. Turns out I tested the company instead. I will not be using them again!!
We placed two orders worth £600 worth of acoustic plasterboard from Sound Solution. The product is good but beware of misleading information about delivery. First shipment was delivered on time. Second arrived 36 hours late - causing considerable inconvenience.
Sound Solution was not apologetic, they lied by saying they didn't know which courier service they used (the lie was revealed when he told me the company's name later) - and their T&Cs seek to deny UK statutory rights by saying they aren't responsible for delayed delivery. In fact UK sellers do not to supply all items and services listed on their invoice (including delivery date). We provided evidence of their error and got our money back from the credit card company.
It was a huge pain and inconvenience. Buying from Sound Solution is like flying Ryanair: if you arrive without problems, enjoy the sunshine. If any goes wrong, forget about them doing anything to set it right.
I will not order from them again. It was a big mistake to have done.
