Southampton Airport Parking Reviews 

Called the information number to try to find out if they have them installed yet - went through 4 different people all passing me on to somebody that MAY know, then they eventually dropped the call. Called back 5 times, constantly being dropped, eventually got through to some guy in the car park who simply said no we dont have them and had no idea if they ever would. Southampton airport - planning for the future (No future !!!)

Experience was great as the booking was easy online, the car number plate is recognised to allow access and the car park is only two minutes walk until you are in the airport.

Would not hesitate to recomend Southampton Airport Parking. We chose the long term and it was faultless apart from the slight problem referred to above. Stress free compared to Manchester and Birmingham.

Simple, Quick, Slick

We flew from Southampton on 17th March, having pre paid for 4 days parking. When we arrived at the pre-paid car park at 1pm the barrier wouldn't go up and there was no response from the buzzer. We reversed out and drove down to the end car park, where one of your workers said the system wasn't working and gave us a ticket from the machine. He told us to put the ticket in the machine and push the buzzer when we returned on the 21st. We did that and explained to the person on the other end, who had great difficulty getting the barrier to open but managed eventually. Also this was the second time out of 2 flights from Southampton that the same thing had happened. I think you need to sort your machines out so that they are more reliable. Other than that the parking was great - easy access and regular bus service meaning that we got in and out of the airport very quickly.

Simple, efficient and cost effective..

The short stay car park was relatively easy to find and had plenty of spaces at 5am. Pre-booking system works well and Car Reg recognition means you don't have to pfaff around pushing buttons or finding loose change or credit cards at the crack of dawn! A short walk to the terminal too. The whole process was easy. The price was competitive I think, Premium space would have cost a few pounds more, but I don't think that would be necessary given my experience.

It's lovely being able to book and to know the car is waiting safely for us when we come back from holiday.

We have parked at all the major airports in the UK. and Southampton Airport Parking is head and shoulders above the rest. Its well priced,convenient, clean ,offers several options and the staff are always helpful and pleasant. No more to be said !!

Brilliant. Wide plentiful marked bays just 2 mins undercover from terminal. Good value and convenient. Makes taking your car preferable to alternate methods.

I had advance booked but the software for the camera at the parking did not pick up the registration number of my car and therefore on the way out the system tried to charge me for my parking (another £232!). Thankfully the assistant resolved the problem very quickly and without fuss.

Short distance to terminal only 2 minute walk from car!

Although a system crash on the day of my arrival meant that tickets were not automatically issued, a staff member quickly reassured me and all went well. I use the airport car park about once a month and the process is always very efficient.

Parking within metres of the car park bus stop and a 2 minute bus journey to the Terminal has got to be good!

I have done this trip many times but this was the best!! Welcomed at the ticket box and we found ourselves right next to the bus shelter, luck I know but very satisfying!
I left my stick in the shelter and it was retrieved by a driver and it was returned to me before the flight, so top marks to everyone concerned!

I use the priority parking service at the airport at least 3 times a month. Its easy to book online and very convenient, no hassle waiting a the pay point to exit. The car park is well lit at night, and feels safe both for the cars and people using it

For what it was (a car park) it was heavily overpriced. Southampton is such a small airport and for 3 days I paid close to £40. In addition to this the bus service is more like a 15 minute wait rather than the advertised times.

Easy to find, short distance from terminal, clean and easy to navigate

I love Southampton airport - its so easy to fly from there when you can park just 2 minutes walk away from the terminal. It makes travelling with little kids and lots of bags very easy. And the prices are reasonable - only a slight increase in price to avoid the long stay parking bus trip. Definitely worth it!
