James and his team are very knowledgable regarding products and materials, helped us with our choices.
Templates were made to ensure a great fit of the worktop on installation.
Installation took about a day to complete which included the fitting of the island top.
The price we paid was very competitive and we were totally satisfied with all the work that was carried out.

We are so happy with our quartz worktops and splash backs. We were very impressed by the attention to detail and time taken in both the templating of the surfaces and then the fitting of the quartz. At templating stage Russ mentioned the option of 20mm quartz and we are so happy that we went for this option as it looks much more modern than our previous 30mm granite worktops. Richard also managed to squeeze full splash backs out of the existing slabs so the price was fantastic! The end result is amazing - thank you Richard and team
Most amazing worktops! Absolutely love our new kitchen thanks to the team at South Yorkshire Marble who have been absolutely amazing despite some setbacks. We cannot fault the workmanship, patience and support of this company but our thanks especially to Rich who spent an inordinate amount of time making sure we were happy with the end result and to Russ who fitted our worktops to perfection, but also for his advice throughout the fit. We only have a small kitchen but the finished result gives it a wow factor - everyone who visits comments on how amazing it is and the craftsmanship in terms of design and fitting of our granite worktops. A lot of time has clearly been spent matching the slabs and up-stands to create the best effect and it shows - we haven’t previously seen any that are fitted to such a high specification as ours. I would definitely recommend South Yorkshire Marble Co Ltd. Richard was so helpful when we were unsure of which type of quartz to have. He organised for us to go to a warehouse where his colleague was amazing and patient to show us lots of different types. We then chose back at wombwell the type and thickness that we wanted, rather than trying to be persuaded to go for a thinner worktop, unlike other places we had visited.
Richard was always extremely quick getting back to us with quotes and answering queries.
Russ came and templated the worktops and fitted them with his colleague and both were very professional and explained what they were doing.
The worktop itself is beautiful and fitted great. The joins are amazing and extremely tight.
I cannot fault this company and would definitely recommend them.
