Should be negative stars really

This company is more interested in profit than clients.
When, a few months after an NHS checkup, I was told that I needed to pay them in the region of £700, I sensed a rip off, so I declined, required that all my, and my wife's personal data was removed from their system, and told them that we would not be using them.
Today I have received a text inviting my wife for an exam. So clearly they are holding her personal data, and maybe mine too, in spite of specific instructions to delete same. Seems like they are ignoring our legal "right to erasure". Tried to email, but they require all that personal info on the contact form. That clearly is at odds with my wishes.
Come on. Be honest!!

Simply the Best!

Spadental Whitchurch is located in Corser House, a 18th century grade II listed building which retains much of its original charm. It’s just off the main one-way street, that runs through the centre of the town. Tucked away in a quiet, Georgian courtyard. Free parking can be found at nearby Tesco and Lidl, only a couple of minutes brisk walk away. Traffic is usually very sparse in and around Whitchurch, making what could be a stressful experience into a relatively pain free event.

The practice itself is always spotlessly clean, with very little clutter. I always feel a certain ambience when I enter the building. Usually waiting is no more than a few minutes, with Covid waiting has been outside in the courtyard and I have taken this opportunity to try and absorb the wonderful atmosphere that the buildings create.

I have had the pleasure to be treated by Dr Adindu Etugu, on at least 4 occasions, since he joined the surgery in 2020. I cannot speak highly enough about his dental skills and also his manner and his interpersonal skills. He always makes you feel at ease and comfortable. Adi never gets in a fluster or seems under any pressure but at the same time always manages to complete the treatment within the time-slot.

My first appointment with him was during early lock-down. I was given the most thorough examination- checking for every possible sign of mouth disease and cancer. I don’t recall having had such a thorough examination before with any previous dentists- and I must have had at least 15 throughout my whole life! On another occasion, I had a particularly awkward tooth to file down, and because my tooth was so long it proved impossible to reach with the dental drill. He overcame this problem without any fuss, remaining calm and composed and making me feel at ease.

Dr Etugu always informs you what he is doing, when he is performing his skills- something that not all of my previous dentists have done before. I can honestly say that Dr Etugu is without any hesitation a brilliant and expert dentist. His calmness, composure and friendliness definitely helps to relax you in his presence.
Shelagh is both the practise manager and Adi's dental nurse- working tirelessly but always more than pleasant, always eager to help you in every way- looking for empty booking slots at the earliest opportunity, confirming appointments with both calls and email. Shelagh hails from the same area as Sir Alex Ferguson and if I was to say her performance would be at a similar level to his- it wouldn't be an exaggeration- Simply the best! Her dental knowledge is what you would expect if not more from over 30 years experience.

I would not hesitate to recommend Spadental Whitchurch to anyone who wants superior dental treatment in a relaxed, friendly environment, and to meet lovely, genuine people. I tried to show my appreciation to the team last time I visited- I gave them a Lidl Apple turnover- not much but hope you enjoyed them?!
