I already left an earlier review, which is now backed up by my latest experience with this bank.
After repeated failure of getting anyone to answer the phone; and respond to emails after 5 weeks of trying.. I resorted to writing personally to the entire board and sending the letters registered for delivery signature.
After 4 weeks, I received a written reply... 4 weeks!!! A letter to the board of directors takes 4 weeks to get a response!
In their letter, they actually claim not to have any record of my email... Funnily, they failed to mention the other 5 emails that were sent to kick them into doing something about replying to my original email.
So, if you do not get a reply to your email, or phone call; then write to the board.. send each member a letter and write on each one "copied to..."(Details are listed on the website) and list the other board members as in receipt. Hopefully, this will get the same result I had?
I am sure that if all their customers did this; they would soon take notice and understand they have bigger issues to deal with. After all, it is the customers using their bank, that pay the salary and bonus of the staff.
On a positive note; I did get a very slight apology for the fact (I quote): "We are sorry you had problems reaching us by telephone".....That was it.. that was the sum of their apology.
They are still using the system upgrade from May as an excuse for not responding and losing information. Unbelievable, I know.. that in 2020 a bank can make such a disaster of their customer service and online portal; and do nothing other than ignore it and hope it will all go away.. Well, it will.. when the customers leave the sinking ship.
