Astro modification of camera
I recently got my Nikon D7500 astro-modded, but I am disappointed with the quality of the service that was delivered to me.
When I received my modified camera then the sensor was dirty so I had to send my modded camera to service in order to get the sensor cleaned. This service cost me an additional €70 on top of what I had already spent on the astro-mod.
I contacted Spencerscamera, and they offered that I could send the camera to them and they could perform the cleaning. But as I live in Denmark this solution was not good for me as shipment costs as much as a professional sensor clean.
I have contacted Spencerscamera in order to get a refund for the €70 that I had to spend on sensor cleaning but they have not answered.
I do not think that it is fair that I have extra cost because spencerscamera did a poor quality job. And I am worried about their quality control as they should have discovered the smudged sensor themselves. Therefore I can not recommend spencerscamera!
