Spire Payments will waste several hours of your time you will never get back
It appears Spire Payments went bust in Feb 2021 and was then bought by Castles Technology. If you want to contact them your only options are by email - not very convenient if you have issues with your card payments terminal. Or via an 0871 premium rate number that bounces you around their automatic switchboard before putting you on hold for the rest of your life.
If they don't bankrupt you with their extortionate charges or premium rate telephone number, they'll just frustrate the crap out of you trying to get to talk with someone. Do yourself a favour and find another company for your card payments services.

Don’t use them scam artists
Don’t use them. Scam artists.
I was given a false quote off the rep and charged double and now on leaving I am being made to pay for the final month but they want the card machine back before the month is up. $hit service all around
Worst card machine provider on earth
DO NOT TRUST THESE FRAUDSTERS
It has been 10 days now since my machine broke down and despite spending more than 20 hours on the phone being passed from one place to another it is still not working. I have never experienced a company as bad as this in my entire life.
You phone one place and they tell you that you don't have a machine from this company, another department says that they can fix it in 2 days if I sign a new lease agreement for an upgraded machine for 5 years. I have left dozens of phone messages and e-mails but nothing gets done. Several of the phone numbers for technical help desks are premium rate numbers which they leave unanswered for hours at a time raking in more money fraudulently.
I finally managed to speak to someone this morning who said he would call back within the hour. That was 5 hours ago and I am still waiting.
In summary avoid Spire like the plague they are absolutely terrible.
A company who don't give a damn
As the architects of the recent Paymnet Sense credit card terminal breakdown which resulted in thousands of customers being without a chip and pin machine for two weeks and counting I give them 1/5. We all understand that technology goes wrong but come on, you must have systems in place for when it does surely? Being left high and dry, kept hanging on literally for hours listening to recorded messages is simply unacceptable. Look carefully at your merchant contracts people, the people you sign with take NO responsibility for a breakdown of the hardware. Caveat emptor.
