We had Lee and his daughter provide for my parents' Golden Wedding Anniversary with a barbecue of beef brisket, cajun chicken, lamb, halloumi kebabs, macaroni cheese and sweet and potato fries.

They were extremely professional. Arrived at the time we asked and just got on with it without a fuss. They served up at the time we asked and made sure that everyone had what they wanted.

The food was delicious with large portions. The lamb especially was really tasty.

They tidied up well and were extremely tidy.

I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Brilliant!

We had a hog roast at our home for a family gathering. The whole process, from booking right through to the day itself, was seamless. Sophie was very helpful with the booking and Alistair came to check out the venue in advance. The pork was absolutely delicious, beautifully cooked and with lovely crackling, stuffing and apple sauce. and very much enjoyed by our guests who came back for extra helpings. Alistair was great company on the day and took away all the concern about catering allowing us to enjoy our guests’ company. At the end, he packed up the leftovers for us and left everything in good order. I can highly recommend this company and would certainly hire them again.

Thank you for hosting the catering at my wife’s 60th birthday party on Sat 9 Dec at the Reading Rooms in Gloucester.
The service that I received from you has been exemplary, from my initial enquiry, to Lee and his assistant arriving on the day. Their timekeeping was superb and with the introductions over they set to work.
Lee was very professional and catered for our every need, his communication leading up to the party was excellent and all the guests commented on his smart appearance and work ethic.
The food was served to a very high standard, unbeknown to Lee, both myself and my wife are ex RAF military chefs, with many a pig roast under our belt.
I’m sorry I did not get to see Lee before he left, however he did say goodbye to my wife and daughter, an excellent event and there was no sign after the dismantling of the gazebo and all the equipment that they had ever been here in the first place. A fantastic job well executed.
The ease in which Spitting Pig dealt with everything was superb, from the lovely telephone manner whenever I called you, to the swift and very prompt emails.
I shall have no hesitation in recommending you in the future.

We held our Christmas Party at our offices and got them in to do us the Xmas meal. They were fantastic. Darren and his wife could not have been more helpful. The food was served hot and there was plenty for everyone. It was absolutely delicious. This is the second time we have used The Spitting Pig and will not hesitate to use them again in the future. Highly recommend.

I wanted to pass on our sincere thanks to Jarrod and his team for cooking such amazing food and being so friendly and helpful. He attended 2 different sites on 4 separate occasions cooking for over 160 people and everyone enjoyed the food. They did a wonderful job and made our whole company very happy!

From start to finish, a seamless operation. Sophie was my first point of contact. Very clear communication and prompt responses. Alistair made contact prior to the event just to explain how they would operate. Our Bovis Homes development at Hounsome Fields was celebrating winning an NHBC Pride in the Job Award. The event was a huge success. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. Who'd have thought a pig roast would even have a vegan option too! Alistair also sent a few photos from the event. I’m hoping another one of our developments achieves an award and I can rely on The Spitting Pig once again.

“ We couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience of having spitting pig cater for us at our wedding. We absolutely enjoyed the food but more than that, our guests have not stopped commenting on how nice the food was. We chose to do a hog roast because we were catering for 200 people and we chose the spitting pig because not only did the food look amazing but the presentation was also quality. I would just like to say a massive thank you for catering our party! It was gorgeous and an absolute hit for everyone that came. The team was so friendly and professional, despite how hot it was they absolutely smashed it for us! Nothing was to much for them, even taking into account that it was a surprise party, they waited for us to surprise our mother in law and then they begun setting up! The best catering in the north east! Even from the amazing communication with you guys over email/text message , it’s all been perfect and no stress involved on our end at all. Thank you so much! From start to finish our experience with the spitting pig company was brilliant. It was really easy to order what we needed, they amended our booking quickly and efficiently when more guests were invited to our do. Ben and Bailey arrived promptly at our venue and set up quickly. They were very friendly and professional, coping with some very elderly guests well. Food was delicious and we are still getting compliments about both the food and service.

Thank you so much for dropping off your Spitting Pig machine to our daughter’s wedding venue for your ‘Self Cook’ option. You said it would be very easy and cook itself…. my goodness you were right! You started it up for us and we walked away and left it to do its stuff, just checking the temperature app on our phone intermittently. This meant we could relax and enjoy being with our guests. The meat was so tasty, soft and fell apart, the cracking just delicious! Your team were very communicative via IMessage so no waiting around for collection, just so simple which made the wedding celebration party even more enjoyable.

I was planning a summer event for 3 birthday parties and was hugely fortunate to book Spitting Pig. From the start the booking arrangements were simple and straightforward and dealt with quickly and efficiently. On the day Alistair turned up promptly and set up everything so effortlessly. The hog roast was truly amazing and together with the delicious roast potatoes and salads was a real feast. I cannot recommend him more effusively. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Alistair and Gary from the Spitting Pig Somerset were great. They were efficient, professional, cheerful and friendly. The food was every bit as good as advertised. Everyone was complimentary about the meal and service and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Alistair and his team of amazing staff did a fantastic job for us on Saturday night, the whole reception worked incredibly smoothly, the food was delicious, the canapés all disappeared really quickly, the crackling crackled, Jack fruit alternative went down really well, stuffing was yummy, and the deserts perfect.
We were so impressed by them just turning up and cooking everything on site, all done without a fuss or needing anything from us.
We would highly recommend Spitting Pig, but particularly Alistair for coordinating it all so well, and so unflustered.
Thank you for your part in making our daughter’s wedding perfect for her.
