I ordered 20 yards of fabric, but the amount of PRINTED fabric on the roll was only 710.5 inches, not 720 inches. The pattern ended 9.5 inches short of where it should have. Despite my complaining to the company, Spoonflower has not made up this shortfall; their snippy response letters make it seem like the shortfall was MY fault.
I also had trouble ordering. Spoonflower did not give vertical and horizontal repeat information for the fabric I wanted. To order during a President’s Day Sale, I had to estimate, using their online image, where the fabric is rippled, and does not lie flat against the yardstick. When I wrote to Spoonflower Help, asking for the correct repeat dimensions, their answer was incorrect— as I later found out, by a factor of 1.5 to 1 !
I am also having trouble working with this fabric. The website recommends washing and ironing it before cutting and sewing, using Delicates cycles. When I did that, the fabric shrank as predicted, but unevenly. Curtain panels that I made by joining 3 lengths of material, have their pattern going uphill (that is, losing up to 1 inch) instead of going straight across, as it should.

They have beautiful designs, but don’t expect any customer service if there is a problem with your order. No phone number, only email messages and it’s been over 24 h during the week and no response.

I received a fabric print that missed the mark a bit. The Customer Service representative was quick to respond and do what could be done to make things right. No fuss, no muss, no hassles. Sometimes mistakes happen, what counts is how you handle it- and in this case, it was handled excellently.

I had purchased wallpaper from Spoonflower before and it has been hanging fine (thus the 2 stars), but I later spent almost $600 on wallpaper for another room and it started falling 5 weeks after hanging. Because of life, I had not hung it right away, so it was outside the 30 day window when they may have done something about it. I reached out and they responded with the quote above. Those facts HAD NOT BEEN DISCLOSED prior to me making the purchase.
I'm writing this review to warn others before they make the same mistake.
Original order was not delivered...due to USPS..called immediately the help desk and they rectified the situation...aplogetic and sending my order again. No hassles at all.
I spent over $1,000.00 on the peel and stick wallpaper. It took me several weeks to install. It's been 5 months and it's falling off my walls. I'm sick about it- I worked very hard to match and get the seams just right. I installed a bathroom sink, toilet, and light fixtures over the wallpaper. Putting up new wallpaper will be even more difficult now. If I had to do it over I would purchase regular wallpaper and hire a professional to do the install. Expensive lesson learned.

I love the breadth of design in Spoonflower fabrics, the incredible variety - and the sales. The new $20 per yard cost is outrageous. It's just too high, up from the already high $18 per yard. With JoAnn Fabrics gone, there is an even greater need for a reliably good fabric shop. But please return the price - to at least $18, but $16 would be even better. Please don't price sewers like me out of a good thing
