Spot on Mortgages have helped with our mortgage twice now and each time Ian was extremely helpful and explained in very easy terms each product's pros/cons. Always friendly and very communicative, Ian went above and beyond when we needed a very short notice DIP too, scheduling meetings that worked for us (after work etc). Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Spot on Mortgages to others and look forward to meeting again when our mortgage is up for renewal.

Excellent, couldn’t have been better

Ian's the best. Thoroughly decent guy who takes all of the stress out of remortgaging and genuinely works his hardest the get you the best deal on the market. He makes the process easy and explains things in a simple, concise and easy to understand manner. He also uses online meetings which are super convenient.

The service is free for the customer as he gets his fee from the lender. He is transparent, open and honest about this and the level of service he gives is excellent.

It was the first time we have used his services, having been recommended by a friend. I wouldn't go with anyone else now and would recommend him to any of my friends.

Nothing is too much trouble

My Wife and I have used Spot on Mortgages (Ian) for the past 30+ years. Ian takes all the stress of mortgaging / remortgaging away. One meeting, now on teams a few emails and some base information and that's it. I have just remortgaged and with Ian keeping an eye on the market secured a better interest rate than we first settled for which was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend.

I was introduced to Ian through close friends of mine after they used Spot on Mortgages for their remortgaging. After some hunting around with other mortgage advisors and with no success of finding a lender that would help my situation it was Ian that was able to find a lender that would agree to offer a mortgage. I spoke to Ian over the internet by video call which felt much more human then a telephone call or email correspondence. What I especially appreciated is Ian's working hours fits in around my work times so that I had a chance to speak with him after my work hours. Ian was incredibly understanding with my situation and let me know if I needed some time whilst dealing with the mortgage and personal circumstances. Ian very swiftly found a mortgage deal that suited and we ran with the offer after it had been approved by the lender. Unfortunately, due to complexity with the remortgaging that was down to the property being transferred and the management for the leasehold it took longer than expected to be dealt with and after 6 months of trying to push it over the line, Ian helped to speed up the process on his side when our conveyancer was out of office which meant that it was settled just in time before the winter holidays arrived and the mortgage offer expired. Thank you Ian for your inside experience and knowledge and getting us the remortgage when no other advisor could do that.
