Terrible experience at a parking lot in…

Terrible experience at a parking lot in Baltimore, MD. Paid through the website since all the signs said to do so. When I did the app said 'cannot process payment'. That led me to believe that they were not taking payment that day. I received a paper violation ticket on my car costing 4x of what the parking fee was. I disputed to pay the original parking costs but not the violation fee. Their reply was 'there was an event and you shouldn't have parked there'. There were zero indicators of an event and the parking lot had < 8 cars in it. Awful communication and customer service, and they are unwilling to waive the violation fee even though their website was down.

$61 parking fee!!!

This company’s treatment to the public is unbelievable!
How can they charge people $61 when their signs are not in plain sight. The only sign visible was a two hour parking limit. Then we get charged the fee. In the process of trying to contact them to dispute it, they responded that it was resolved. Yes, they resolved it by sending the bill to collections!
No regulation. They are legally able to ruin people’s credit score and charge an obscene amount for mistaking parking in a paid lot.

I would give this a 0 if I could

I would give this a 0 if I could. This place is an absolute joke. I stopped in Columbus after work for a company Christmas party. Some of us individuals followed each other to the place. Across the street was a parking lot with about 20 spots where some of us parked. There was a QR code to scan, you would miss it if you were not paying attention. All of us scanned the QR code and it took everyone to a different website. The website asked for my spot number so I walked back to my car to see what spot number I was in and provided the information the website asked for. I even stood in the rain to download an app to try and see if I could pay a fee so I would not end up getting a parking violation, there was absolutely nowhere to pay. I could not imagine an older individual who is not familiar with phones to figure this out. I went inside to get out of the rain and multiple people were passing around phones trying to figure it out. I was at the company party for about an hour and a half. We walked out to our cars to tickets on our windshields, not to mention it was $73… No payment = $50 Parking Fee = $8 Admin Fee = $15. I have tried to contact the number given multiple times the past 2 days, no answer. I talked to an individual I know that is a cop. He even stated that it was complete bull and that he was not surprised they won’t answer the phone. The ticket states that it was on “private property” and if it is not paid within 45 days that it will be sent to collections and effect your credit score. If you can’t do your job to provide an easier way for payments to be made, don’t expect me to do your job for you. It seemed like a set up and an absolute scam because it only asked what spot I was parked in. I am still debating on how I want to approach this since they do not want to return any calls. I will not be using this parking lot again and I hope nobody else does.

Horrible

Horrible. I put in 45 days notice to cancel my parking spot (they have a 30 day policy) and they charged me $295 anyway for the month I moved out. I've been hounding them for a refund for 2 months and still nothing.

This company/service is horrible

This company/service is horrible. They run valet at the DoubleTree Grand Hotel in Miami. They took my car and returned it with cigarette smell in it and the manager said nothing on the cameras shows someone smoking in it, but cigarette smell is a distinct smell and impossible to mistake for something else. He didn't care - said he would give me a voucher for next time. Why would I leave my car a second time with a service that doesn't make good on the initial service - a refund for $55 (overnight fee) because I have to clean my car now. Horrible Service and No desire to make good on damage done.

Awful

Awful! Absolutely awful. I parked in the Washington Hill lot in Baltimore, MD. All exits malfunctioned. Attendant would not push the button to open the gate. Said someone was on the way. Thirty people were trapped in the lot for an hour and half. Not one phone number of the website answered the phone. One number was disconnected. All the attendant had to do was push a button and she didn’t. One person was over an hour late picking up her child from school. Another missed a PET CT appointment. I was on my way to the airport. Absolutely awful customer service. All they care about is the money even though we all paid at the pay station. SP Parking, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Fake Parking

Got scammed into paying for parking at a lot on W Cermak in Chicago that didn't require payment. When we arrived, there were no spots available. I reached out in September. It is now February, and they have still not responded or refunded me.

Recently had an outta town gig where I prepaid for 2 days of parking. Unfortunately on my way back American Airlines delayed my flight and I was forced to have to pay for an additional day. While I was at JFK I called the 1 800 number for SP plus and told the customer service person exactly what the issue was. She simply told me to go online and prepurchase another 24 hours and then when I exit to show the barcode to get out. Unfortunately, I did this And when I tried to exit the woman at the booth told me she could not take an additional prepaid voucher from me. And then made me pay an additional $18 . I explained to her that I had called the 1 800 number and this is what I was told and she simply said that that's not what they were told so she couldn't take my additional voucher. This was the biggest scam of a self parking situation I've ever had. Although the woman at the booth was nice she told me to call her manager the next day which I did and have yet to receive a phone call almost 3 weeks later. Do not use this service! They don't tell you the truth and they take your money without thinking twice.

a very painful place to park

I have been parking at their 147 West 83rd Street location in NYC for the last two months. It's painful. I have perhaps taken my car in and out 10 times over that time period. On five of those occasions, I waited over twenty minutes to get my car back into the garage. The entrance to the garage is blocked with cars ready to go out but without drivers. Today I spent an hour - was late for work as a result. They have gotten better as it relates to being able to retrieve my car. Sometimes it's ready now, so that is good. In my first month of service, they misapplied someone else's payment to my account. I called to let them know. It took six phone calls to straighten this out and I was only trying to make sure that I paid them what I actually owed. There are real issues both a corporate customer service level and infuriating experiences in actually using their service.

On December 29th my car was parked at SP Plus Parking in the Los Angeles area. (DO NOT USE)This is a self park but when returning to my car, found they had moved it with a lift. Not only did they move it but when they put it down, it was not even in a parking spot, it was just put down randomly and there were scratches all over the drivers side and back. The operations manager of that lot did not want to help us at all and I have had to fight with them just to get a call back. It has been a month and this is not resolved and when I do hear from them (with a bit of stalking) they make it very clear that this is not of importance to them. With my car being black, these scratches did some expensive damage. I have emailed Vice President titles and they have just handed me off to others, I have a claim admin that has never called me back but will email me stating she is looking into it so I figured I would go to social media and see if I get a response.

Great and efficient workers!!!!

I recently parked at the 270 W. 60th Street location for SP Plus. I was attended by a young gentleman I believe named Bienvenido like “welcome” he joked. He was very helpful and respectful. I appreciated his politeness and efficiency. I had lost my ticket and he was very helpful in acquiring my vehicle. I only had to show him a copy of my license so he can match it to my registration. But he made my experience at this location brilliant. I left him a nice tip! Will definitely be coming here more often and suggest to my family and friends

DON'T BUY ONLINE, I ALMOST LOST 42 DOLLARS

DON'T BUY ONLINE, I'VE LOST 42 DOLLARS
I'm going to travel to chicago (i'm from Rio, Brazil) and is really expensive to park in chicago, so I decided to buy a
on line rate at the millennium garage website powered by the SP+ corporation since it's cheaper than a drive-up rate. I bought a 3 hours parking forJuly 1st 12pm to 3pm at the Grant Park South Chicago, the website did not complete the transation (the screen
become blank with no return), so I tried again and had the same problem, and again with another credit card without
success. For my surprise I was charged in these credit cards the 14usd each time (total of 42usd). I did not receive any confirmation number or message whatsoever. I've sent almost 100 messages to SP+ and Millennium garages through the website pages without any answer. I'VE LOST 42 DOLLARS AND I HAD NO ANSWER TO MY QUERY, DANGEROUS COMPANY! > 2 weeks later > After many days complaining I've got their attention through the trustpilot plataform, after talking to many people and many e-mails later they solved the problem. Still I would not recomend the online plataform since it's too unstable, better pay a drive up fare or call.
