I would strongly advise anyone to avoid using this company or any company which it is associated with it (EHS Construction Energy Systems Ltd, ERS (David Webb) Ltd). They completed rendering on part of my property and it was not fit for purpose. Under the breach of consumer rights act 2015 we took them to court and won. They have an open court judgement to pay damages which they have not done to date. You cannot contact this company, they avoid all communication they change address all the time. David Webb is associated with all of the companies mentioned above and he absolutely cannot be trusted.

Very pleased with the recent insulation and silicone rendering work carried out by Spray Wall Coatings UK. David and his skilled team handled the project with great precision. All paperwork was agreed and signed before starting, and commenced work on time with materials on site at start date. The friendly and professional team turned up every day as promised, worked hard and completed on time. I would highly recommend Spray Wall Coatings UK to anyone in search of a reliable service and a fantastic end result.

I am writing this now as I realise Spray Wall Coatings (David) is still operating and hope this is a warning for anyone who may be considering using them.
I originally booked to have my property rendered in Sept 2021, after paying the initial deposit, David who had been very quick to chase before then suddenly went quiet with his communications. After I chased we were then given a time later in the year to do the work (initially it was suggested the work would start soon), by the time this date came along, the weather had turned for the worst and now the property couldn’t be rendered, so I ended up having to wait until March 2022 for it to be (nearly) complete.
I had communication issues with David numerous times with him not keeping me updated, not letting me know when workmen wouldn’t be arriving where I could have planned to do something else that day instead, and eventually a complete lack of response once he had all his money.
He did not communicate the plans to his scaffolders or workmen on a few occasions leaving me to highlight what was expected (like scaffold surrounding fencing that needed lifting to render behind).
In good faith I paid David his final payment after the workmen came back to fix some snagging issues with a promise that another area of render that was incomplete (due to a leak caused by his contractors extending pipe work) would be resolved soon. I also later realised that the workmen had not reattached my drain pipes correctly or my neighbours which the had unscrewed to work on my property (leaving me with a neighbour who now has ill feelings to allowing these works to happen over his property) and within a few weeks I also found the replacement window sill covers bowing out of shape (not even from extreme heat).
All of the above was pointed out to David numerous times from March through to August 2022 and he then started ignoring my texts so I sent WhatsApp’s where I could see them being read, he did not answer my calls but did answer a call from my wife’s number and hung up when he realised it was my voice.
I received a ‘guarantee’ in the post for this work but when I tried to send a letter to formally ask for the work to be finished the letters which were sent by recorded delivery were returned as undeliverable (both to the address on the guarantee and the address published on the website.
I cannot stress enough how angry this has made me and would recommend anyone considering using Spray Wall Coatings (David) to not believe what he tells you, he likes to talk (BS mostly) to make you think he can be trusted but my experience (and several others I see writing reviews having similar issues with him ignoring them) is very poor and I wish I never agreed to go with him.

Due to new EPC ratings coming in future for lettings, last month for 2 houses I instructed Spray Wall Coatings to install external insulation with Flexible Synthetic Silicone Rendering.
Work was started and finished at as 1st agreed dates.
David and his team provided a service that was excellent. Professional people, fantastic work, quick, clean. Fully satisfied with the result. I highly recommend David and his team.
I have now instructed the same work for 3rd house.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Dear David Webb full of promises of exemplary workmanship.

Had my house insulated and rendered by this company in July 2022, the Insulation was applied with out adhesive, there was gapping between the insulation boards that were not filled as promised, the insulation is too far over my new window and door frames, and insulation exposed in areas to the elements. My recently painted roof tiles were left in a terrible mess with droppings of silicone render ( NOT HAPPY ) The work was messy, polystyrene everywhere three gardens either side. My neighbours garden was also left in a mess. Got sent a Guarantee but no Certification.

Tried contacting Mr David Webb but no response, communication and customer care a shambles, I wouldn’t think the guarantee is worth the paper it’s written on considering there is no response whatsoever from this man, shame on you David.
Work was very slap dash and I definitely would not recommend.

We had this company spray coat render the side of our house in November 2021 which was 2 months later than promised. It was pointed out on completion that the spray coating was not one consistent colour, to which David Webb assured us it would dry one colour within 3 months. We took his word but made it clear if it didn’t we would expect it remedied. 3 months later in January it was still a patch work of colours, so tried to contact David which proved difficult, after many many broken promises to come out and inspect it, he eventually came in March and accepted the colour was wrong and must have been a bad batch. He promised it would be resprayed by his team but would keep dodging setting a date, he would ignore calls for weeks, we chased and chased he promised June, that came and went then we had a date in August to which no one turned up. So here now mid August 2022 and once again he’s ignoring our messages. Terrible customer service!!

After a delay of approx 10 months after a series of excuses and poor communication, the coating work finally took place in July 2022.

We were appalled at the state our house was left in. The builders caused damage to numerous areas and the parts of their work was to a very poor standard:

1) Damaged/removed paintwork in numerous areas – last painted inly two years ago. Decorator has assessed and said the correct procedure was not taken to protect the paint on the woodwork it was only two years ago that we had the woodwork to the exterior of the house painted. It appears that the builders just ripped off the old rendering taking with it paint and wood from the windows
2) Damage to wood including window frames and broken tiles
3) Wires and Cables not reattached and left hanging or on the ground
4) Drain pipes replaced inadequately and some using screws which will cause a build-up of debris
5) Plinth Painting (to cover up their original messy work) just as messy and unprofessional
6) Poor and substandard finishes to window and door surrounds - spray coating splashed on paintwork and ground; unsightly, uneven and messy sealant surrounding windows and doors
7) Damage to neighbours property and ill fitting drain pipe replacement
8) Builders’ rubbish left on our property
9) Damage to front garden - tools and equipment dumped in flowers and plants with no care
10) Damage to burglar alarm - two alarm engineers needed to repair the damage
11) Irreparable damage to television satellite dish and new one had to be purchased

The contracts manager David Webb, ignored all of my communications (including emails, text messages, WhatsApp messages and hard copy letters) regarding the damage and poor work standard. He has refused to take responsibility for the failings of his workers.

I wrote to David at the address shown on their letters and documentation (400 Thames Valley Park Drive) but the letter was returned by the post office because ‘we were unable to deliver as is the recipient is no longer at the address’. I then tried the address on the Spray Wall Coating website (Unit 6, Bolney Way Feltham TW13 6DB). I telephoned first and the company at that address told me they are nothing to do with Spray Wall Coatings and they have previously had calls from people trying to trace Spray Wall Coatings. I then tried the address that comes up when you Google Spray Wall Coatings (House of Hannover, 14 Hannover Street, London, W1S) but House of Hannover was a clothes shop that has now closed down and Spray Wall Coatings is not shown as being at that address.

Because of the damage, the decorator and a builder will have to rectify the damages and poor work at considerable cost. The builder who assessed the damage said the builders were ‘cowboys’.

Spray Wall Coatings UK have just finished rendering our house. We are so pleased with the result and the way the work was initially explained, planned and undertaken by David and his team. The guys themselves were pleasant, hardworking and approachable. A five star service.

Spray Wall Coatings installed a Flexible Synthetic Silicone Rendering System and provided a service that was excellent all round. Lovely people, fantastic work, quick, clean and very professional. Fully satisfied with the result and will upload a pic once the scaffolding has come down!!. Would fully recommend David and his team.

Pleased with rendering to my property. Weather delayed start, but once under way was carried out quickly, cleanly and with minimal disruption. House looks like new, am very happy.

As owners of a period property, we were nervous about adding external insulation, However SpraywallCoatinguk was used and recommended to us by a family member and we are glad they were. Alex and his team did a fantastic job, they arrived early, worked hard, circumvented issues and were a pleasure to have on site. We are extremely pleased with their work and the professional finish achieved, it has transformed our property. We asked for a bespoke finish on the window frames to avoid a boxed look, these were really nicely done, however this came at an extra cost which we were not warned about (as would work to the plinths and additional plumbing issues) so be aware of additional costs, especially if changes are made once work has commenced.

This is one company I would not recommend to anyone. David Webb is not a straight forward man, he uses sub par contractors and the quality of the work is poor. I had to get an external auditor to inspect the quality of their work. They rendered a pipe into the wall, they failed to seal the window edges which meant an opportunity for water to go in, after numerous exchanges of email and witholding his final payment he finally fixed the issues with a different contractor. They damaged my driveway, because the skip was not protected. I will not recommend you use Spray wall coating except you are prepared to be there personally inspecting the job.
