DO NOT PURCHASE

I placed an order seven months ago that still has not shipped. At the time I placed the order, the item was "in stock." I emailed every couple of weeks for a month or two asking for an update, until giving up. I once got a vague email from Danny Keyes that he "emailed the warehouse team" and would get back to me but did not. SRCvinyl is a scam. I'm only grateful I didn't get taken for more money

Inaccurate Listings & Bad Service

Product descriptions are inaccurate - ordered a set of two vinyl, as the post listing said, received a single vinyl. 'Owner' refused to be of any help. Stick to Discogs.

Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover or Those Other Reviews

I have been to their Niagara On The Lake location a few times now and have never ever been disappointed. There are some bad reviews here yes but I have never had an issue with them. If anything they have been incredibly awesome. I guess the people with good experiences just arent leaving feedback.

I have found some great incredibly hard to find releases from them and have ordered off their website quite a few times too. They also have amazing prices. YES you will have to wait for ones that are on Back Order but that is the chance you take, you just have to be patient.

I ordered a Green Day album in one of my orders that they had in stock while the rest of my order of 5 albums were back order hard to find copies. They actually HELD the copy for the 5 months it took for a few of the others to come in. THEY DIDN'T TAKE ANY MONEY FROM ME to hold it. I even offered because I didnt think it was right for them to no get paid for it, and I didnt want it to get sold; but they said it was okay and too just pay when the rest was in. That my friends is GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. You wont find that at Sunrise or any other record store.

If you want a great deal and are willing to wait if they dont have it instock I highly recommend this store.
Dont let the bad reviews scare you away because it is well worth the browse; you definitely wont be disappointed!!!!

AVOID

Please avoid this website at all costs. Ordered a record on pre-order. The item was never received. Phone numbers are dead. No response to emails or tickets.

Don't bother with these scammers

Read the other reviews and don't bother.

Almost a year ago I placed a record that was due out 8 months ago. After the first delay I was understanding, the second I thought I'd let them off in case there were problems with the supplier. 2 more delays after that, 3 months after the original release date, the record started to show as "on back order" but released - but it never showed up at my door.

After numerous (5+) attempts at emailing and sending tickets went without response, I had to haunt every Facebook post they made for a couple of weeks before I finally heard back to say it had been delayed by the supplier and no further information was available. Don't waste your time with these guys. Look at the comments on this site, their dead Instagram, or half of the comments on their Facebook posts and you'll see numerous people having the same issue.

I'm not sure what they're up to - taking money for preorders and using it for something or other. I do know that they couldn't care less about customer service and I will never order from them again.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. I pre-order 5 albums and i got them 4 months after the release date. No answer to e-mail. 3 of the LP were wavy. I sent a video for a refund...still no answer. Stay away from this site.

NO COMMUNICATION AT ALL!

I placed an order and then realized that I wanted a different shipping address. I emailed them and did not hear back for 3 weeks. Then I sent a follow up asking if they got my request. They responded with my receipt - they shipped the same day I sent the follow up email. And they sent it to the original address. I will see if I got the items as ordered when I visit the wrong shipping address this Christmas. I`m not impressed by how inaccessible this company is. How busy could a record store be??????

This website allowed me to purchase an item they don't have

This website, as far as I can tell, is a complete scam. I ordered a vinyl record a month ago that even now is still in 'processing' status despite their claims that orders process in 1-2 business days. I opened a ticket to ask why it was still in processing and hadn't shipped yet, and waited almost 2 weeks for a response. Then they had the gall to tell me they didn't have the item and stock, and weren't even sure IF they would get more in stock. Not when, but if. How on earth do you advertise and sell items that you don't even possess? I requested to cancel the order, but from what I've read that's going to take a stupidly long time. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. Based on other reviews, I'm inclined to believe they don't have any stock at all and are a completely fake business.

Scammers

Place orders, wait forever, get no replies when you submit a ticket wondering where you stuff is, rarely actually get your order, the unfortunate thing is they have good products and good shipping...but they rarely actually ship the items and definitely not on time. Would not recommend. Seems like they scam a lot of people or just need to hire more staff to provide a reasonable experience to the consumer.

Save your money and time

Danny Keyes and his company are scammers and won’t give you your money back. They don’t respond to emails, phone calls or any social media. They ship damaged products and expect you to keep them or return them at your cost and out return shipping and original shipping fee due to them acknowledging they shipped damaged items. They have been screwing people all the time. Social media don’t lie. Avoid at all cost unless you want damaged items and out money. Flooding there ticket system to only get it disabled on various accounts. Disabled FB Messenger which I assume it’s Jenna I was talking to. Filed dispute with visa which I had to return damaged vinyl with my own money cause of these scammers. I hope they go bankrupt cause I have left bad reviews everywhere I can and even let people know on Twitter about them. Filed a complaint with the BBB. Stay away far away.

SRC Vinyl - Understaffed / dont care

TL;DR - Company run by 1 person, they are struggling to keep up with business, expect your orders delayed and no real explanation. Expect to be requesting refunds or waiting months. Not to be trusted. I will be changing to bad if I don't get my record in Jan.

SRC Vinyl put out some interesting pressings of records. It appears that lots of people get their orders but an awful lot do not and this goes back years, you can see reddit posts complaining of the exact same thing 2 years ago.

It appears the business now is not replying to any requests through zen desk in less than a month. Their social media comments are full of people stating they haven't got orders or refunds!

It appears that the easiest way to get a refund is to open a paypal dispute or take it up with your credit card, its very likely to go in your favor as they don't have time to deal with complaints.

The business is run by only two people who now appear to be swamped, and unable to support their customers in any meaningful way. Moreover they are not honest about their release dates. More and more records are having their release dates pushed back multiple times. They provide no real explanation or update their website frequently to explain delays.

I have ordered a record in Feb 2019 and its now Dec 2019 and its had its release pushed back to Jan 2020. I am dubious to whether or not I will see my order. If I don't I will be pushing for a refund.
