The whole process was fully supported by Stair Furb staff and their useful animated how to literature. The delivery was punctual and precise.
But where it all got real was the installation process, it was seamless with every item fitting perfectly. But most significantly it was so easy to fit.

We had the most fantastic experience with Stairfurb from start to finish. We were quoted an extortionate amount from other companies but Stairfurb knew exactly what we wanted and came in at a quarter of the price. They sent us a quote super quickly, delivery was a breeze and they put us in touch with F&H Installations who came and installed the stairs for us. Removal and installation was great, super smooth and they left our hallway super clean. Overall so impressed and our stairs are now the main feature of our house and something we so proud of. StairFurb have to be one of the best online companies I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Fantastic, easy site to navigate through and place my order, superb guidance throughout with videos that were provided. Customer service from the start has been top class, a big call out goes to James who was amazing in the support he offered after I had made a mistake in my selection of a newel post. He talked me through what I needed to reorder, assured me he would do what he could to get the order out as soon as he could and followed up via email and text with delivery updates. The product is great and of good quality.
The whole ordering experience was easy and the product was delivered on time and the couriers were very efficient and polite.
I would say that even though badged as a DIY opportunity, personally I could never have done it, we hired a joiner, some of the tools he used I wouldn’t expect a diyer to have.
If you are thinking of taking this on be prepared.

We have just finish doing our StairFurb installation in under 2 hours, we had set the whole aside to do the job, but pleasantly surprised how quick it was. Good quality fair price delivered on time

The product itself is very good, and I have no complaints with it. But the company aren't great to deal with. I had 2 main issues.
Firstly there is no mention at all on the website that the wood is untreated, I cant imagine anyone wanting to treat the oak before fitting it and once the purchase is made they then offer treatment and charge you an extra £100 to do so, nice little earner for them but transparency from the start would have been better. The second and main issue i have is they are offering customers £200 cashback to film parts of the fitting and leave a Google review. Offering someone £200 to leave a Google review creates a bias, no one is going to leave an honest review if they aren't happy as they want the £200, this in my opinion is a underhanded tactic to increase review scores. They also didn't give me the £200 even though I did as they asked, they offered me £50 saying they didn't want to use my content, even though I had met the criteria which said they would pay that regardless of if they use the content or not.
Overall I can recommend the kit, but the company has left me with a sour taste in my mouth which is a shame. Stairfurb if your reading this, you need to work on your customer service, very quick to take your money, weeks of chasing if theres anything issues, taking days to reply each time.

We did our research and decided that Stairfurb was the best option as their customer service was well reviewed and the product looked straightforward to install for DIY novices like us.

From the very beginning their team were very patient with us on multiple video and phone calls where we confirmed the specs, install process and triple checked our measurements. Once the kit arrived a few weeks later we contacted them again to confirm a few details of the installation which they were quick to clarify. It never felt like we were bothering them with stupid questions as they were always very helpful and polite.

We did a newell post clad and full balustrade refurb and the process was relatively straightforward. Some DIy expereince would have made the process a bit quicker for us but we figured it out eventually. It did take us a little longer than we expected (2 days) but we did have to wait for the cladding to dry before fixing the ballustrade kit.

We would definately recommend Stairfub to anyone looking to update or modernise their stairs.

Couldn’t have had a better experience! The glass that arrived didn’t fit unfortunately, but James was extremely helpful and sent out a replacement piece straight away at no additional cost.

Delivery was spot on. Emails and phone calls making sure that the instructions of the glass bannister was sent swiftly before installing.
The product and quality is very good.
