0 stars if I could

0 stars if I could. Bought a dishwasher 1/13/25. Was also sold an extended warranty. 1/19//26 door making weird sounds. Repairman came, deemed it non repairable. It is now mid February. Dishwasher doesn't even turn on. The warranty people say it was fixed. Repairman says it is not repairable. Repairman says he has submitted report 2-3 time. They always say they don't have it. Numerous calls to no avail. Standards customer service is ZERO help. Seems once they sell you something you are on your own. I would never recommend Standard TV and appliance. Use to be a good company totally BS now. Stay clear.

DO NOT TRUST STANDARD TV & APPLIANCE

DO NOT TRUST STANDARD TV & APPLIANCE – They Damage Your Home and Refuse to Pay!

I have been a loyal customer of Standard TV & Appliance for years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their delivery team damaged my hardwood floors while installing a refrigerator in November 2024, and instead of taking responsibility, they have given me the runaround for months.

The Damage
This is not just “scratches” to the finish, as Standard is now trying to claim—it is actual damage to the wood itself. I provided an estimate from a flooring expert familiar with the specific finish, confirming what it would take to properly restore my floors. Standard, however, offered a completely inadequate $700, based on their own contractor’s estimate, which even states that the damage is highly likely to still be visible after their proposed repair.

The Lies & Avoidance
Standard is now falsely claiming there were pre-existing pet scratches—this is an absolute lie!
No documentation was ever provided to suggest my floors were anything but in excellent condition before their delivery team damaged them.
I have spent months calling, emailing, and even sending formal letters, only to be ignored or dismissed.
When I called to speak with management, I was transferred to a representative who never returned my call.
Bottom Line
Standard TV & Appliance refuses to stand behind their service and has actively worked to avoid taking responsibility for the damage they caused. If this is how they treat a long-time customer, imagine what they would do to someone else!

🚨 If you value your home and want a company that actually takes responsibility, AVOID Standard TV & Appliance at all costs! 🚨
