Been seeing James for a couple of…

Been seeing James for a couple of months, and have nothing but praise for him. I had really bad vertigo and medication from gp didn't help, it kept coming back. Now fully recovered, but will be seeing James again for another problem and have full faith in him.

I have nothing but praise for the team…

I have nothing but praise for the team at Stanmore Chiropractic. They have helped me numerous times when I have had back problems and more. James is my 'go-to' guy and he is a genuine caring person who gets me active and pain free again whenever I have spent too long hunched over a computer and ended up with back problems.

One Saturday morning when a DIY disaster left me in agony, I got an emergency appointment with Adam, who fixed me immediately.

What's more, I will forever be indebted to James for helping my Mum to walk again after 9 months of being pushed from one hospital department to another and back again. I thought it was an alignment problem caused by walking oddly after a stroke ... James agreed to see her, saying he couldn't promise anything but it was worth a try. He treated her and within weeks she was out and about again with her friends, with a new lease of life.

Mr James Bloom from the Stanmore…

Mr James Bloom from the Stanmore Chiropractic asked me during the consultation where I was from. When I said from Germany he asked whether I was not ashamed of that. I was absolutely shocked and should have walked out there and then and when he treated my upper back shortly afterwards, he pushed it down so hard and so suddenly, without warming the area first with a massage, that it is still hurting me after almost 2 years. I was given my money back but the pain is still persisting. I'm absolutely furious with Mr Bloom and think of taking him to court. I just cannot get over his arrogant approach and rather careless treatment. In fact, I should say dangerous treatment. I have also noticed patients leaving the surgery in what I would call a distressed manner, ie., they seem to be in quite a lot of pain.

It should also be noted that I've been trying to leave a review on the clinic's website and was unable to do so. They don't seem to allow patients to leave honest feedbacks. All of the ones on their website, without exception, seem so shiny and perfect that the whole thing doesn't seem trustworthy.

If you are skeptical about spending…

If you are skeptical about spending your hard earned money on a chiropractor and are reading these reviews in the hope of backing up your decision to do so, then please pay attention to this review. I'll tell you why.
I had been to see two chiropractors previous to coming to this clinic, and I was fed up of wasting my money so I made a phone call to be sure of what I could expect before I went. I was told that each appointment be between 35-40 minutes. The initial was £60. Expect no treatment on that visit.
So, as expected my first 3 appointments were indeed about 30 minutes, however, I was never given full attention as the doctor was in and out of the room seeing to another patient at the same time, which was a little bit frustrating, but I stuck with it. My fourth appointment was a little different. I walked into the treatment room at 10:02. I was getting dressed again after my treatment at 10:10 and I was out of the door at 10:14. In this time I had an acupuncture needle in my leg for 2 minutes and my leg was tapped with some kind of plastic contraption that looked like it had been taken out of a Christmas cracker. This was later explained to me in a phone call as something to release the tension in the calf muscles. Bearing in mind that my problem was with my spine and the tension in my calf was a symptom of that, I saw no need for this. I sincerely believe that no amount of tapping my calf will cure a trapped nerve in my spine. To add insult to injury the man still managed to find time to see a patient next door whilst I sat on the bed wondering what was going on.
As I left I was a bit miffed as I handed over my £42, and I couldn't help but think about the person in the other room who would also be handing over £42, making it quite a substantial earning of £84 for 15 minutes work. If he kept this up for and hour that equates to £336 an hour. Now I don't mind if he earns twice that, as long as I feel that I am getting something out of the deal, but I was not.
I would like to add that I served in the army as a medic, and my girlfriend came with me who has been a nurse for 15 years and we both saw absolutely no therapeutic value in those procedures.
For sure these chiropractors know their stuff and they will mesmerise you with their exceptional knowledge of the human physiology, but in my case, talking a good talk was all that these sessions could offer me, and because of this I cannot justify to myself any more sessions.

Take care all.
