Booking process was very simple

i needed to change ticket dates, the girl at the desk was very helpful

Booking is easy on Steam Packets website, very straight forward. my problem with Steam Packet is sailings to races in IOM are nearly always through Belfast and now worse for southern travellers we have to go to and back through Larne and always at night.. Hopefully next year we will have more sailings into Dublin.

I find the website easy to navigate and simple to use

Absolutely terrible service and communication. My sailing was cancelled at very short notice with no proper support or alternative options offered – the only replacement was two days later, making my short family holiday completely pointless. Staff were unhelpful and even suggested I just turn up at the port and wait around hoping to get on a ferry, which was distressing and completely unacceptable. It has ruined what was meant to be a special trip, caused enormous stress and financial loss, and I would strongly advise anyone to think very carefully before booking with this company.

I think if you have booked before you know the twists and turns and small active boxes that you need to fill before you move on. Even so as an experienced traveller to the Island I did make some errors along the way and had to check thoroughly the final page before going to payment. So I can give it 4 stars but I expect someone coming across the site for the first time will have some problems navigating the complexity.

The Ben is getting OLD and even looks it AFTER the re- furb.
You cannot HEAR the announcements in the small bar and lounge!
Disappointing as the cabins are gone also!

Really frustrating as 3 times the system expired before I could finish inputting my details and would not except my Revolut card so had to use my lloyds debit

Reasonably easy process although it is a bit irritating going through all the options that you do not want. Should be a tick box that lets you see the options if you want to or skip them if not interested
