I have enjoyed many drinks from Steel river drinks after my son introduced me to them. They offer a very friendly service and are always helpful with any enquiries.
I recently ordered 4 bottles of their new rums. Coffee nut offers a unique flavour that can be enjoyed on its own or will really enhance a mixer. Cherry bomb I expected to be my favourite but lost out to tropical. Cherry bomb tasted great on its own but when mixed with cola, gave the same taste as rum and Cherry cola. Not disappointing by any means but not as unique as the others. Tropical, my favourite. This tasted so fantastic on its own that I didn't actually try it with a mixer. That leaves spiced, which I've yet to open, but I expect will not disappoint. I love the smaller bottles for these as it means I can have more choice for the money.

Great company, excellent gin and a big variety of flavours, which are always being updated. What's not to like. Jay has a small team, but they are friendly and extremely knowledgable about their products.

Amazing service as always, and a beautiful selection of various product's that have the best tasting flavours and the most gorgeous, elegant looking bottles. Jay is always a pleasure to chat with, and goes out of his way to please customers, as well as the other staff. They make you feel like you're genuinely valued, not only as a customer, but a friend. Also great for you football fans wanting to purchase a bottle with your clubs crest on it. Keep up the amazing work everyone, you're smashing it! 💪

Fantastic tasting vodka’s
I purchased Toon Army vodka for my daughter and strawberry and cream vodka for myself both found to be delicious. Steel River drinks are awesome

For ages I have been looking for a gin with a decent abv percentage and found steel river drinks, not only do they have a 45% abv in their gin they have a good selection to choose from including two different types of subscription boxes I signed up instantly and also have bought from their shop online,

I am absolutely loving the gins and also the way the company is run, it’s not robotic and you don’t feel like a number you get quirky and funny responses and emails,

I have found my gin company for life now and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do,

P.s. they also do vodka of different kinds but I’m not a vodka drinker so can’t review that 😁 but I’m sure they’re stunning,

Bought the Darlington FC gin for a friend I haven't seen for a very long while. He absolutely loved it! Easy to order, great customer service and love the little flask add on - very nice touch. Also really pleased to learn about the origins and charitable work of this business. Highly recommend!

Love Steel River gin especially their 265 club subscription which is amazing value for money with lots of extras added. Never had one I don’t like and lots of variety. Would definitely recommend Steel Rivers gin to anyone

A fantastic range of quite special gins from lemon bomb to pickly pear. The flavours are something you won't find anywhere else. Great that you can purchase small pouches first as a taster. Everything about this place is special from the light up bottle, gifts, speakeasy and of course the amazing staff. If you want something different this is the place to go!

Steel River Gins and Vodkas are amazing and such good quality, I've started getting the monthly boxes and I'm blown away by the quality and quantity of the contents

Steel River is excellent. Not only have a treated myself, but they make excellent gifts as the bottles are really special. Living locally to the company I've had my Gin and Vodka hand delivered, which makes for fast delivery and is a nice touch. Please support independent traders such as this company.

I wasn't previously a gin drinker, but since trying the different flavours, I now enjoy a glass or 2. I usually buy from the shop when I have been to the Speakeasy. The staff are always friendly and helpful and work hard to make sure that everyone enjoys the Speakeasy, if you haven't been to one of these nights you are missing out on a special night. Jay has worked hard to make this company a success and he has certainly done that. He also does a lot for charity in the area. All in all it is a good local company making unique flavoured gins.

Great customer service and support. If there are any queries about an order they are quick to respond or to contact you to clarify an issue. There is a good selection of gin all very tasty and make a lovely gift.
