MOT & Interim service done again by Craig and his team at Steins Garage in Leith.

The guys as honest as they come and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone especially people that aren't garage price savvy as I can guarantee you won't get ripped off at Steins. Find a local garage you trust and support them and avoid the fast fit big names.

I've been a car owner for 20 years and used a lot of garages and fast fit places and I admit I'm pretty clueless when it comes to car maintenance so if the garage says this and that need done I just said ok but I've learnt a good bit now and realised I've been done quite a few times. Craig the owner at Steins (great guy) advises you and explains everything and won't do any work that doesn't need doing, I've literally begged him to find things that need fixed or replaced and he must think I've got something wrong with me because he just laughs 😂 honestly if you need a garage use Steins because you won't regret it.

Craig Stein garage always do a fab quick as poss repairs mot service. . I’ve no clue about cars but totally trust him and his team to be honest and keep the cost down. . Never disappointed. Normally has your car complete on the same day .

Just had my car MOT & Serviced by Steins and found Craig the owner to be very helpful & considerate to my needs, very reasonably priced and did a first class job.

Second time I've used Steins and another 5 star experience from Craig and the team. Disks and pads changed on the front with quality parts, back drums cleaned and adjusted and the brake fluid changed all done fast for a very competitive price. What I liked is he showed me the old disks and pads so I could see they were needing done.

I also asked Craig to flush out the engine coolant and replace (obviously) but he said it doesn't need done so showing his honesty again as he could have made another £80+ off me.

Super friendly service from Craig who shows and explains what he's done which is great, an honest garage isn't easy to find and giving business to a proper garage rather than a fast fit chain or main dealer.

Craig Stein always goes the extra mile; best garage I have ever used. Be it for MOT, Service or repairs I have always been more than satisfied. Honest, professional, helpful and very competent. I have been using Steins Garage for almost 7 years now and have been extremely satisfied with the service provided. I've used Steins for Servicing, MOT and general repairs for my Ford Fiesta and they are always extremely transparent about the work needing done and the pricing, which is always very good value for money. They are also very quick and I almost always get my car back same day depending on the work needed. A friendly and honest bunch, I thoroughly recommend them to friends and colleagues.

I first tried out Stein's about 6 years ago after getting fed up with the Volvo dealers and fortunately Stein's did not disappoint. It is so refreshing when you come across a garage that you can trust and undertake their work in a professional manner. Only too happy to recommend them.

Booked my car in for an free inspection re a steering issue.
Dropped it off at 9.20 and received a friendly welcome from Craig.
Car repaired and ready for collection within 2hrs for a very reasonable price.
