One area of improvement required from my experience. Logistic company delivering the car to the dealership could improve their communication, this improvement would have made this a 5 star review. But I cannot fault the dealership at all, Well done and thank you.

Poor service doesn't even describe it
So the issue started with the car becoming in a mode called FORM, this stands for fuel oil refresh mode .
This is a protective system designed to safeguard the engine. In our case, the vehicle had become stuck in this mode. To exit Fuel Oil Refresh Mode, the car must reach an operating temperature of approximately 92°C.This will reset this mode. I found all of this information out myself due the service department having absolutely no clue! To resolve the issue, I carried out an oil and filter change , then using my autel diagnostic machine ( with the security gate way pass) I was then able to re set the fault which then enabled the car to be in normal operating mode
It is extremely concerning that an authorised Alfa Romeo main dealer did not identify this issue, nor suggest something as straightforward as an oil and filter change combined with a system reset. This indicates, in my view, a significant lack of understanding of the vehicle’s systems, particularly given that this ultimately proved to be a relatively simple fix.
Furthermore, following the vehicle’s visit to Bristol, a new fault has appeared: “Quiet Vehicle Pedestrian Mode (QVPM) message missing.” This relates to the external speaker system that alerts pedestrians when the vehicle is manoeuvring at low speeds (for example, when reversing or moving forward in first gear). This fault was not present prior to the vehicle’s visit and will now require rectification,

The Sales Executive was truly quite excellent, extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the product and although there was absolutely no pressure put on us to buy a car as I had made it clear that we were just looking at small SUVs in general we were so impressed with the whole experience that we actually decided to buy a car there and then.

Tried to order part (hub axle nut) from Stellantis dealership in Bristol for 2009;Chrysler. Went to collect the part and discovered dealership was not at location on website. Found correct location for the dealership to be told that parts are picked up from a different location - again no information making this clear on website or mentioned when I spoke to them on the phone. When collected part and got it home it was not the right part. Took the part back to the place where I collected it from. They took the part back and told me that the person who dealt with refunds was on holiday but she would ring me when she was back. She did actually ring which surprised me given levels of communication so far. She informed me that she couldn’t refund me (~£65), I suggested I did not think that was legal because they had supplied the incorrect part so she informed me she would speak to a manager and ring me back….she didn’t. I am writing off the money because I want nothing more to do with Stellantis, they seem to operate in a very “unusual”way and I note in the news that the Stellantis Company appears to be in significant financial difficulties.

I ordered a paint touch-up here and had to go to
Avonmouth to collect it.
It took me an hour from Bath and when I got there
they could not find it !
I waited 30 minutes whilst they looked but to no avail !
and it cost me £12 in petrol.
Dreadful.

The touch up paint has been found at Avonmouth and is being sent to Saltford Motor Services from where I
will collect it on Monday ( much closer to me than
Avonmouth )
However, I am still out of pocket and ask that Stellantis
reimburse my costs.

Had a great experience at Stellantis & You Bristol getting and issue on my Giulia Quadrifoglio sorted. There was a difficult to diagnose clicking noise from the rear of the car and while the booking process wasn’t the smoothest (new dealership teething issues, I guess), the team absolutely delivered once I got there.
Alex, the chief tech, came out for a drive with me, took the issue seriously, and clearly knows his stuff (others had suggested it might be the brakes, but he quickly ruled that out). Nicolo got me sorted with a hire car (a Stelvio—nice touch!), and Martin and Ryan in the service team were great to deal with.
They even replaced my rear lights, which had developed some condensation and algae, without me needing to argue the point—they just agreed it wasn’t right and fixed it.
Overall, I left feeling well looked after and have no hesitation in going back for my next service. 🙂👍
