I dropped in without an appointment at…

I dropped in without an appointment at the Manchester branch, I found the car I was interested in but unfortunately all the sales staff were busy. As a sales lady passed me I asked her if anyone was available from the DS showroom, she said she would ask. A few minutes later a chap called Naresh asked could he help, I explained my situation, he explained he was busy but he could get the keys for me to look myself until someone was available. As I was walking out to the car lot the previous lady called to me to say she’d be out shortly. I sat in the car for around 10 when the sales lady arrived. We had a good chat about the car and valued my car for part-exchange. Unfortunately the part-ex value was too low for me to reach the asking price, a hold has been put on the car for me to try and meet the asking price and I have a test drive booked. All in all, a good experience with helpful and pleasant staff considering I didn’t have an appointment. Let’s hope for the right outcome.

If I could give 0 I would total joke took my car in for recall on airbags Thursday the text to say its ready and when I got there my car had not been touched had to take it back today its still at there garage that's another day I've got to tale off work to go collect it tomorrow total waste of time not to mention they don't even answer the phone. JOKE - and now they have no record of me or my car and want me to take this down TOTAL JOKERS

Avoid !

This was a product recall.
Parking nightmare, cars everywhere.
Presented at service desk - 4 staff, no-one looked up, ignored. Eventually seen & redirected to the showroom. No-one there. After 5 minutes, chased up person dealing with the repair. Was told they'd leave a message for her. After another 10 mins still no-one turned up.
Had no confidence anyone would deal with me so left.
Appalling customer service.
Also, the central booking system is useless - you can't contact individual dealers.

Avoid if you can

On Friday, I saw an advert about a car from the AutoTrade app and then I requested for a test drive on Saturday. Then at 5:40pm, a staff Jaxon called me and told me your shop will be extremely busy on Saturday and requested me to change the booking to Monday. I told him I will check and I will let him know if I cannot make it on Monday.

Since I cannot make it on Monday, I messaged Jaxon to check if it is possible to change the appointment to Sunday or next Saturday, but I did not receive any response.

Then I check the company's website, I found that I can book the test drive via the website, so I booked the test drive of this car at 3:00 pm Sunday.

Then I received a call from another staff Omari who confirmed to me that the booking for 3:00 pm was fine, so I paid the 99 pounds reserve fee.
After I paid the reserve fee, another staff called Adam who contacted me via Whatsapp, he asked if I can arrive earlier as their shop will close at 4:00pm. I told him I will try to arrive earlier but since I have another committed task in the morning, I won't be able to arrive very early. Then he gave me the address of the shop.

Therefore, I fully understand that the shop will close at 4:00 pm and I am in the last timeslot to test the car. I drove to the shop immediately this morning after I completed my task, I didn't even eat my lunch because the traffic was heavy, I arrived at the shop 2 minutes before 3:00 pm, but there were only one staff there and he was with two other people, he told me to wait and then at about 3:30pm, his guests have left and then he took me to see the car and then he went back to his desk.

I was very surprised as my intention was to test the car, why did it become only seeing the car. So I went back to his desk and told him I wanted to test the car, then he told me his shop will close at 4:00pm and therefore I can only test the car in 5-10 minutes. I told him my booking is from 3:00pm and then he told me to wait and finally he can only give me 5 minutes to test the car.

I don’t know if it is this company's policy to only give 5 minutes test time to their client?

I ask for the name of this staff, he told me he is Adam. I told him 5 minutes is not sufficient for me to test a car, I told him I don't want to waste his time, I told him I have decided not the buy the car and ask him to refund the reserve fee to me. But he didn't do anything there.

I don't know how long it takes for them to refund the money to me, but I will update here once I got my money back.

However, I have just found out that the car is untaxed since 4 Aug 2025, would it be the reason for the limited testing time? I don't know.

Failed repair, failed promises, unlawful practice

Failed repair, car broke down after collecting it from Stellantis. I immediately returned the car. Stellantis then kept it for nearly 4 weeks with no updates. I had to chase constantly by phone and email - most ignored. When I finally received a diagnosis, they dismissed ECU faults and insisted on replacing the particle filter for almost £2,000. I asked for full diagnostic reports: these were delayed, incomplete, and inconsistent.

Worse still, they refused to refund the £312 I paid for the failed repair unless I authorised the new £2,000 work. This is unlawful.

Even their complaints process is broken. On 8 September they formally acknowledged my complaint and promised a written response within 3 working days. That deadline passed now and I still have no update.

This dealership and brand show no accountability, no transparency, and no regard for customer safety. My car remains unusable, I’ve spent thousands on repairs and car hire, and I am left chasing answers.

Zero if I could. 🚨 Unsafe, Unresponsive, and Unaccountable 🚨

Zero if I could.
This has been the single worst service experience of my life, and I feel I must warn others.

My DS3 was taken to Stellantis &You Manchester on 31 July 2025 with an Engine Fault: Repair Needed message. They told me the issue was with the particle filter (FAP) and charged me £156 for diagnostics and another £156 for a regeneration.

Less than 30 minutes after collecting the car, it suffered complete power loss on the motorway at 70mph. It was terrifying and put me and other road users at serious risk.

The RAC recovered the car and logged ECU fault codes (P1632 internal ECU fault).

Since then, my car has been sitting with them for over 3 weeks with no repair, no timeline, and no courtesy car. The worst part? Nobody updates me, every single piece of information I’ve had to chase them again and again for and that if I was lucky to get hold of the branch. I was never given a proper point of contact to email, and even when I escalated via Stellantis’ main website contact form, I received no reply. It’s like dealing with a ghost service.

Meanwhile, I’ve been left to pay for a hire car at my own expense, unable to claim via my 3rd party warranty, no support, no transparency, and no accountability.

I AM STILL WAITING FOR BOTH FULL DIAGNOSTICS REPORTS including error codes retrieved. An authorised dealership and service provider should be able to supply those right away unless they have something to hide.

Stellantis have completely disregarded ECU errors, insisting again that the filter is to blame. To me, this looks like they are simply trying to justify their failed first repair rather than admit a misdiagnosis.

They released a car back to me that was not roadworthy, and it broke down within 30 minutes. They are ignoring ECU fault codes in order to stick to their own narrative. They have failed to provide diagnostics for over 3 weeks.

If Stellantis &You Manchester DS cared about customer safety or service standards, this would never have happened. Based on my experience, this is not a dealership you can trust with your safety or your money.

⚠️ Avoid at all costs.

I`d give zero if i could!! AWFUL! AVOID!

Just awful experience and always a headache when dealing with these clowns. The technicians are clueless and wreck your car. I`m an asian man and just felt they had something against me, like a bad attitude.

They tell lies when your car gets a…

They tell lies when your car gets a safety recall for timing belt fault.
We were told the recall & work needed was free- Stellantis garage in Salford told us we’d been given wrong information from they’re own customer service sept & because the car was over 6 years old that we had to pay for the work needed.
Then they said we hadn’t had a recall letter from them because we weren’t the original owners of the car (which we told them we were) so then they changed the excuse to say it was DVLA that send the recall letter out so it’s not they’re fault we didn’t get one, the woman on customer service in Salford was horrible & had no empathy in her at all she just seen the £600 coming over the counter.
2 months later Stellantis write to us saying the car needs a safety recall stating again the work will to be carried out for FREE (for the work we’d paid for a couple of months earlier from the company that don’t send out letters!)
So we called them to be told yes it was free.
We emailed their complaint dept who apologised said they’d sort it out & ask for the payment receipt of the ‘free’ work we’d already paid for & our car service book.
They then wrote back saying as we’d missed an anniversary service that the free work was null & void.
How can a safety fault be null & void!!!
We explained all this to them & asked why it didn’t say in their letter to us that if a service anniversary date had been missed that the free work wouldn’t be honoured, because we could of had the work carried out locally & cheaper!
They are a ripoff.
Avoid buying or using this company they just want your money & tell lies!!
Shambles of a company!

Buying experience at Stellantis

Walked into the dealership and was instantly greeted by Billy ,one of the car salesmen! Proper nice and genuine lad! He showed us to the used cars. Billy made the car buying process seamless and stress free. I was made aware of any perks that came with the car eg. Warranty and also useful service plans etc. Perfect car and a perfect car buying experience 10/10

Today I purchased a car from Stellantis…

Today I purchased a car from Stellantis & You Peugeot Manchester and I cant fault my experience.

I appreciated their transparency throughout the entire process, from the pricing to the available financing options.

I specifically want to thank Billy, my sales representative, who went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase, picking me up and dropping me back to Manchester Piccadilly which was really helpful given that I travelled up on the train.

Billy took the time to walk me through the entire purchasing process in detail and patiently answering the endless questions I threw at him. I appreciate that he allowed me to take my time to consider my decision.

Awful cars and awful service

Awful cars and awful service. Had the new DS4 just over 2 years now and had numerous issues with vehicle. When I first received the car the drivers side window wouldn't close properly and would bounce down as soon as it hit the top and the alarm would go off randomly when locked. I managed to get the car booked in, eventually (normally takes about 3-4 weeks to get the car booked in to be fixed), they had fixed the window but not the issue with the alarm, so I had to book this in again and wait another 3-4 weeks. Following that I had a strange noise coming from the engine, and the engine light came on and was undriveable, again another 3 week wait for that to be fixed. When it was in for a service a month or so ago they found an oil and a coolant leak, coolant leak fixed then and there, oil leak needed a new part, due to go in next week for that to be fixed. Yesterday I went to start my car, battery completely dead, called my breakdown cover they came out and couldn't get it started. they told me to call the dealership directly and ask them to come out. Obviously they don't offer that service, so if anyone wants some free scrap metal, please feel free to come and collect it!

P.S. The electrics are also terrible, sometimes the dash doesn't light up, so you don't know what speed your doing, apple car play doesn't always connect and randomly disconnects, oh and the main centre screen randomly freezes, so avoid at all costs!

Withholding/Delaying Collecting My £127.00 Locking WheelNut Key

Witholding my locking wheel nut key that cost me £127.00

I have been to Salford & Sale Peugeot Stellantis Stores multiple times trying to purchase a locking wheel nut key for my car I purchased with them in 2017.
This process have been made extremely difficult, caused me a significant amount of distress. I've been misinformed on several occasions throughout the ongoing weeks from several different colleagues between both stores.
First off in Sale store I was told its not something they do then when I let them know that another store had told me they can sell me this item they then changed their answer immediately but demanded a utility bill with address, my driving license, my V5, a 10 week wait for collection, a price of £180 to buy a locking wheel nut key for my peugeot 208 hatchback.
Eventually after a few attempts I managed to pay £127.00 for this thankfully and visited Salford Stellantis Store to collect this and was sent away to collect at Stellantis Parts UK North West, I tried again today(09/11/2024)and was sent away because the service team wasn't available as they don't work weekend despite being told by another member of staff they work weekend suntil 12:30pm because it's a half day. Despite all of this, I still am no closer to being handed my locking wheel nut key, I've been bullied and laughed at by male colleagues because I've stood my ground being a woman. Caused me a tremendous amount of anxiety and distress.
Extremley sexist experience. I think I've offended these men by letting them know that it is something I can order. Just unfair and disgusting treatment all round and I'll be taking this further as long as they have my locking wheel nut key in their possession.
I have to get this resolved asap as I have a nail in my offside rear tyre. a simple request which has been made extremely difficult for a vunerable young woman struggling with health issues. It has been around a full month of trying to get this resolved. Sad world we live in when companys can bully the public like this.
