Avoid these scammers at all costs

Avoid these scammers at all costs. Their servers are frequently offline and leave you unable to submit a report on your commitment contracts. They will still take your money and not give you a refund. Their customer service is awful. No one answers their phone lines, no one responds to their emails, and their support through the app always just says “we’ll be in touch” with no follow-up. Protect your money and go somewhere else!

site is laggy but it's does work

site is laggy but it's does work, the method actually work, in fact it was successful to get me off my ass. it couldnt charge my card (it's a foreign one), i found that out 5 days later after i started the challenge. i had no problem submitting reports. you have 24h to submit them. i feel like the creators have absolutely abandoned the project perhaps they just werent able to make it work financially. tbh i'd rather have the site charge me a % every time i fail so they have some incone and have it work properly. it's an abandoned site essentially.

Excellent concept. App doesn't work right.

I love the concept Stickk has to deduct money each time you miss the goal you choose for yourself and donate it to an anti-charity (a cause you're against). It worked really well for me, better than most things I've tried.

Unfortunately, the product doesn't work. Technically, it's so buggy that it's almost non-functional. The Submit Report button doesn't seem to work a lot of the time and you have to do it several times and check to see if you got a confirmation email to see if it actually worked. The time stamps are wrong and you can submit the required report before midnight the day it's due but still be marked as unsuccessful because of the wrong time stamp.

The staff at Stickk are friendly and responsive and willing to correct mistakes. But I don't want to have to contact them several times in a 28-day period to fix things.

I've searched and haven't found another product with the same effective anti-charity motivator. Too bad the product isn't technically functional. Otherwise, I would probably stick with Stickk and keep using it for a very long time.

It works exactly as promised, but you get out of it what you put in....

StickK definitely helps you stay on track! BUT - you *absolutely must* know what you are getting into!! People complain because they can't get released from their commitments. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT! This app is up front about your commitment being legally binding. Presumably these users chose this app to hold them accountable, and then complain when the app holds them accountable. Going in, be sure to make a SHORT TERM commitment at first, to see if the app is for you. You WILL have to report regularly, without fail, on the schedule that YOU, the user, chooses. Your reports can be on the "honor system," so it helps if you are honest about it (or else, what is the point at all?) Users can also choose a 3rd party to "referee" if that helps keep them on track. Know all of this before going in, and if it still sounds good to you, give it a trial run (short term commitment at first). If you have a hard time following through or sticking to things you started, avoid this app - it will frustrate you. But again, holding you accountable *IS* the whole point, afterall.

Really annoying

Really annoying, you cannot cancel this silly thing. And I have already "donated" twice to a charity that I absolutely hate, not because I did not keep my commitment but because I did not log into this website to put a tick. Avoid it, it will just give you additional work to do. I will have to even add it to my work calendar now, what on earth!

stickK.com is the best app so far I managed to find.

stickK.com is the best app so far I managed to find to keep you on track to achieve your goal. Money commitment increases the chance of success by about 300%.

I use stickK for 2 weeks now and I already made huge progress in exercising regularly. A mobile app is very useful and comfortable to use. Its design is very good. I use stickK on both Mac and iPhone and I am very satisfied.

To sum up I would recommend stickK to everyone who is enough committed to achieve a goal by making a small financial risk decision.

Fraud Alert !

the zendesk does not reply on time. In case the entitlement is towards a friend, and for any reason it does not get encashed, they forfeit the amount without your approval.

Pathetic experience, the money is not utilised in any charity, but consumed by stickk itself. Its a FRAUD stay away !

Using StickK has changed my life and saved me money

I used StickK for 13 weeks, last year, and it changed my whole financial world. It's a site that lets you make a commitment to achieve or stop something, on your own terms, it asks you to make weekly reports on your progress (or failure) and is really simple to use.

While I used it in 2018, I kept a regular note of my spending (- it shocked me to see what I was spending prior to StickK) and saved money, was aware of what I was spending at all times and it made me feel so in control.

Since ending the commitment in early December 2018, I continued to do well, on my own, for a couple of months, but then Christmas happened! While that shouldn't have been a problem, as I was keeping a note of my spend, I started to spend on wasteful things again and began to feel out of control again, so now, I've renewed my commitment with StickK, to "Stop Wasting Money", again for the whole of this year, to ensure I stay on the right track.

StickK is great - it's free to use (but you can opt to pay to a charity of your choice if you fail and you can say how much you want to forfeit - and I have failed a few times so... lucky Charity!). You can opt to have someone referee you or you can be honest and referee yourself...I do this myself and I'm pretty brutal with myself!

Thank you SticK. Keep up the excellent work.
