Unrealistic timeframes! Very disappointed

The website advised 3-5 working days for dispatch from proof approval, and that they use DPD next day delivery.

I placed an order on 11th June, hoping to receive them on the 21st latest, ready for a weekend event I had booked on 22-23rd June. This provided 7 working days, which I was aware didn't provide much wiggle room.

I messaged StickyThings on the 19th as my order was still showing in queue to be printed.

I got a very speedy response, which was great and I thought the fast response was a promising sign.
I was advised that they "have an estimated 7-10 working day turnaround from print queue entry until dispatch, further details are mentioned on the delivery info page and at checkout. We are on the 6th working day for your order and the labels have been printed and are queued on the large format roll to be trimmed down. They will likely be dispatched tomorrow for delivery Friday."

I was happy to read this response, and although I was hoping I would receive the delivery on Friday (the 21st), I had accepted to myself that I might still not receive it in time.

The Friday passed, the following Friday has now passed, it is now the 30th and I am still yet to receive my order. The online portal is still showing my order in queue, I have received no updates, and I am really disappointed that I have been provided unrealistic timeframes.

I can't comment on the quality of the products, as I am yet to receive my stickers.

I wish I had placed my order elsewhere.

No communication, no proof, late + bad quality!

We ordered a small batch of stickers sheets 14 days before they were needed for a launch night we were having - well in advance - and, having been reassured by Vicky that they would arrive on time, we were given NO proof (so had no ability to check the cut lines or colour) and NO delivery information. Not only did they not arrive on time, but when they did, the colours were not correct (very dull) and there were steaks in the printing quality. Completely unusable, and we had no stickers for our launch despite being reassured. Now we have been ghosted by them when asking for a refund…

Buyer beware. No customer service and no product!…

I ordered on 27th April and money deducted on that day. It is now 13th May and I have had no order confirmation (except what was on the website which I now can't get into). There is no contact information on their website - just a message board. When I could get into the website, I messaged them to ask them when I would receive my order. However, this was last week and still no reply.
Their website makes it look like they have loads of good reviews. I wish I had checked Trustpilot. The phone number they are advertising on Trustpilot does not work. Trust Pilot should take this down.
I will contact my bank if I have not heard from someone in this company in the next 48 hours.

Firstly, we have no records for an order in progress by the name of Winston, so you will need to provide us with more details if you want an update on your order.

Secondly, all reviews on our website are legitimate. We gave up with Trustpilot long ago due to all the spam reviews left by competitors that they won't remove, hence the poor service rating. If you look at the previous reviews when we were paying Trustpilot, you'll see the vast majority are 5*. Over 1000+ 5* reviews.

We didn't add the tel no to trustpilot. We don't have telephone lines due to the constant spam calls. We'd have to employ someone just to take sales calls pushing all our prices up, which we don't want to do.

If you need to contact us, it's really simple. It's in your order page. All questions get answered with 24-48 hours Mon-Fri with the occasional exception.

Im over the moon with the final results…

I've been looking for company that is able to print labels from less quantity and with more designs..stickythings full file all my ideas and Vicky is really helpful and patience. I've been hope for nice labels but I love them absolutely. I'm obsessed with final results, they're in great quality, look really luxurious and for reasonable price that will not cost you arm and leg. I have already 3 experiences with them, ordered 3.times and I know I'll stay with them. I would rather support small family business that is running they own company for great prices with lovely results than big companies and I'm glad I chose stickythings.

Not what I expected

Not what I expected. Much longer to deliver than others and customer service is a pain to get access to.

Also it looks like they are lying on their website about their Trustpilot rating. (Shows up as 4 stars)

We gave up with Trustpilot long ago due to the spam reviews and poor policy. The google accredited review platform on our website is legitimate and we're rated 4*. Trustpilot is a horrible platform for all businesses with a large client base in a competitive market. Took at Amazon or DPD reviews for starters & they're the best in the business.

Avoid Stickythings, as they will miss their own deadlines and refuse refund

Ordered from Stickythings on the 14th March. Despite clear claims of 3-5 working days for delivery visible on their website, you will have zero chance of this occurring. I complained on the 27th and asked for a refund and within a few hours had had a response claiming the items had been printed and I would receive in 2-4 working days. I couldn't wait, so ordered from another company. I got the new ones within 24 hours - and they cost me less.
I've STILL not received the stickers from Stickythings and they are ignoring my requests for a refund. Despite clearly breaching consumer law (14 days cooling off period on distance selling - even on personalised goods), they continue to claim they had told me it would take 7-10 working days (they didn't meet this estimate either).
Communications with the company descended into a farce when Matthew Staines, from Sticky Things, started trying to use a restaurant as an analogy.
I countered using his analogy with an accurate reflection of the service standards received, and guess what, he stopped responding.
They are clearly struggling with supply and demand and are not meeting their own claims on delivery.
Shocking service standards and shocking handling of complaints. Happy for Matt or Vicky to offer any form of counter argument. I am considering a Writ - on principle.

Don’t use if in a hurry!…

I placed an order for a smallish amount of labels on 31/01 and just got notification on 21/02 that they will be delivered. I would not recommend using this company if you are in a hurry.

There is no email address or phone number, only communication is via their website on the order placed.

Not ordering from here again

I'll never order from here again. The printing team is obviously too small for the demand as I placed my order on the 28th of December and still waiting for it today 17th of January. If you take THIS long to manufacture orders you NEED to make it clear on your homepage. It has to say "order processing 3-4 weeks" as 99% of printing company ship within a few days, otherwise you are scamming people. The tool to check "your order progress" in my account doesn't work either and it's not possible to contact customer service to cancel the order either! I am a small business owner and appreciate small businesses but when you take this long for production and it is impossible to contact customer service you have to make it clear to customers before they order.

Literally the worst company AVOID

Literally the worst company I have ever ordered from in my whole entire life. I made an order in November, they called me to find something out and couldn’t reach me as I was at work, they didn’t proceed to email me or anything at all. I waited and waited for weeks to see if the update would show on my account and saw nothing. Finally after weeks i got through to someone about the print. And it’s now been another couple of weeks of literally begging to get an update on my order and still don’t know when I will receive it. PLEASE AVOID if you know what’s good for you and don’t want to go through months of chasing a company up. They will show good reviews on their website but don’t believe it please. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Misleading information Bonnet striping

They offer standard Bonnet striping for Mini Cooper. They do not mention that returning is not possible. The reason they provide is that the stickers have an application layer which means that application has to done in a few weeks time. How can this be if it's standard product and has to kept on stock? Transparency by mentioning clearly upfront that returning isn't possible is doing business as it should.

1 month after placing order still not received

I placed an order for 100 small rectangular foiled labels on 3rd October. I fully appreciate they are a small business and a husband and wife team. However, on their website they do say when demand is high expected turnaround times are 7-10 working days but this is only an estimate and orders of significant volume or complexity may experience delays during peak times. Again fully appreciate this, however, my order was not a huge one, albeit it was foiled. The order is now on it's 18th working day in the foiling queue and a day short of a month since I placed it. I emailed chasing my order on Wednesday 18th October and received a reply from Vicky to say Matt was staying late that night and my order would be despatched on Thursday 19th. I am now on 30th October and no order has been received. I have requested a full refund as my labels are now redundant and I've had to order replacements from elsewhere. No reply or refund received. Please think carefully before using this company.

Customer service not top of their priorities

I ordered in error 2 x sticky labels in error instead of 200-sticky things did message me to query and said that if I paid £2.00 more I would be able to get 100. The issue is that the only way I can see this message is by logging into their website and viewing the message instead of sending a straight forward message or picking the phone up and giving me a call to bring the error to my attention. I now know why there are so many reviews about their lack of customer service……I have messaged them many times suggesting a conversation by phone but so far they have refused.

This is the second review Martin left. He deleted the last one because we replied with an honest answer which made him look rather silly.

So, here we go again. Firstly, Martin is now a known liar. In his first review he stated: “ PS I did not accidentally order 2 instead of 200 lol....” and now he is saying the opposite.

We’ll start at the beginning again. Martin ordered x2 address labels by accident. We messaged him to let him know that we could produce more 100 for just £2 more. The message went unseen until he received his order. We printed a few extras anyway, around 20 labels.

He left the one star review to state that the labels are so expensive. You’d have thought upon checkout he’d have seen that, but no, he blamed us. He told us that we should have phoned him directly, despite us not having phone lines and it not being part of our service.

Rather than be nice about it and try to resolve anything, Martin left a 1* review and suggested in the messages online (he found them eventually) that he wanted the review to damage our business. Rather spiteful for producing more than he ordered.

We don’t take kindly to this attitude. Had he have messaged, admitted his mistake we would have put some more in the post for him FOC, but he just assumed he’d sooner blame us for his failings.

I’ll copy & save this text this time so not to waste more time responding to his next review.

In terms of perspective, Trustpilot is generally now a dumping ground for disgruntled clients who have made mistakes and/or have vendettas when we call them out for their dishonestly or bad attitude. You’ll notice that none are invited. This is because we use Reviews.io to invite for reviews now.

We currently have a 5* rated service on Reviews.io and many reviews weekly. As opposed to the few negative reviews on here with literally 2000+ successful orders between top and bottom of the page.

Let’s see if Martin has the integrity to let this reply stand before deleting/revising the review for the third time.

For anyone reading this, thinking that people can’t message us, there is a message box on the order page within the account. We get between 20-30 messages a day and we usually respond within 24/48h. It’s an easy system to use and keeps track of all your messages pertaining to your order.

I too am thinking I have been scammed

I too am thinking I have been scammed. There is NO WAY to send emails or communicate to see what is going on (very cleverly set up so that clicking on support or messages takes you back round in a full circle). Apparently my order has been "in production" for 17 full working days and is still only number 15 in the queue.
Checked on Companies House and they were going to be struck off so that rang some alarm bells.
It would seem I, like the other reviewer, should have gone elsewhere.
I too will be talking to my card issuer regarding this payment and lack of goods / comms

I placed 2 orders on the 4th of…

I placed 2 orders on the 4th of September I am still yet to receive my dispatch email and the communication has been very poor. If you are like myself who has a medium sized business and needs packaging and stickers working 4 weeks, don’t use this company as it’s clear the management is poor as they seems to get overwhelmed over a couple of thousand sticks.

It’s the 25th today and still no communication.

Great Labels

Our 1st order was great, everything we expected and more, great labels. Website was a bit tricky (for us) to navigate when doing the templates but we managed to work it out, and was very happy with the order.

Just waiting on our 2nd order from 21st August, appreciate the updates on orders.

Usually great but disappointing this time

I have recently received an order from Sticky Things and felt compelled to leave a review after reading their recent reviews.
In the past I have had good experiences with this company, very good quality and fast delivery. My recent delivery took 3 times longer than the max shipping period advised. When I checked their site to try to track my order, I found a message advising me that they are working at capacity and orders will be delayed. They had tried to dissuade customers from contacting for an ETA, which was disappointing.
I think this problem could usefully be solved by advertising the delay in delivery BEFORE the customer places an order. I understand this is a small business and how difficult working at capacity can be, however I don’t think this should be passed on to the customer in the way it has. Overall, I’d have felt much more positive about my experience if, when my order was late, I could have contacted the business, been advised of an ETA and given the option to cancel the order if it had not yet gone to print.
I will probably order again in the future, once the sting of the inconvenience this caused me has worn off…
