Scam Alert !!!
We have rented a property from this disgraceful Property Agent for a year.
Firstly, They charged £500 for the administrative fees !!!! Then We agreed to a rent and signed the contract. Next day Agent (Jubel Ahmed) called me and told me that landlord want £50 more rent otherwise he will not give me the property (although we signed the contract) . And explain me the average rent on the area and requested me to sign a new contract. Because I have already decided to move there I said ok. and we signed another contract with the new higher rent.
We always paid on time and never ask for any kind of help. (Though he ignored 1 repair request; roof was leaking..)
After 1 year, when we were moving, we left the property spotless, clean and neat. They had their inspection and was really happy with the property and gave us the full deposit back.
After 4-5 days, Agent (Jubel) Called me and said, he found a bed bugs in the property and told me to pay for three (3) beds. I straight way said No, because, i never seen bedbugs in property. I Told him, new tenant brought it. I also told him, you have inspected the house and you didnt find anything that time, so how come suddenly you asking me to pay for three beds.
Then he started swearing and threatening me by saying - IF I DO NOT PAY FOR THE BEDS, HE WILL SEE ME? He will Find me? and more.......
I Hung up the phone . Then he sent me a threatening massage..
I already notified it to the local law agency and planning to make a formal complain to the standard agency.
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS DISHONEST AND DISGRACEFUL BULLISH AGENCY
