We had such a quick and easy purchase thanks to Tigan and Caroline at Branston Leas!

Always super happy to help with anything we needed even when we felt we were being nightmares! Kept us in the loop with things and helped us every step of the way.

From the first day that me and my family viewed some plots on the site, through the rest of the process until the key was awarded to us, the office team were truly amazing. Special mention Tigan and Ben who were so helpful in everything that we need to know as first time buyers. Thank you so much guys!

Having moved into our new build there were the inevitable ‘snags’. We expected some challenge from the developers (that’s what happens right?) wrong! Josh could not have been more helpful. In terms of aftercare service, Josh demonstrated all the skills required as an aftercare/service provider. He is a great listener, empathetic, even better problem solver and fantastic negotiator (to our advantage) Always jovial, nothing is too much trouble. He is also reliable. I have to say all of the St Modwen employees and subcontractors were fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Shout out to Callum, John, plumbing and groundwork lads.

Since moving into our new home back into September in Glan Llyn, Josh has been amazing and so helpful with any issues we have had. We had a snag list before we moved in and most of these were delt with before we moved in with Josh making sure the rest and any additional ones were completed in a timely manner.

When we have raised other issues he has dates arranged and keeps us updated.

When we see him around the site, he is always smiling and makes time for a chat with us and checks in with how things are going.

We have recently reserved a plot at Seaham Garden Village with the assistance of Elaine Mills. Buying a new house can be very stressful but Elaine has been most helpful throughout the process. She is very knowledgeable and her advice has been very reliable. Some people just do their jobs but I feel that Elaine has gone above and beyond.

Absolutely lovely experience here, the ladies made the reservation meeting for my sister so special and personal which I didn’t experience with buying my own new build through a different builder so it was really refreshing. They're clearly very passionate about what they do and that makes a huge difference.

I had a snagging problem and I contacted the Customer service. They sent the warranty manager and their repair engineer (Phil) He did the repair professionally. He left the repair room tidy and very clean. I am very satisfied with the quality of the repair. That's why I score a 5▪︎.

Awful experience...they rushed us for a 5* .
Toliet been blocked Since we had the place ..kept asking them to fix isuue now apparently its too late ... under the sink been leaking since the start too .
Do not buy from these!

What an asset Caroline McElhone is to the team. We were so grateful for her support and help whilst navigating through what should have been a straight forward conveyance but hit a number of hurdles which Caroline helped us to overcome.

Would have been a disappointing experience without the help and expertise of Caroline McElhone who guided us through the whole procedure. A fantastic asset for the company who gave common sense answers and ensured any problems were quickly resolved.
Went above and beyond to provide help and advice even when she was on holiday.
From reservation to exchange, January to March, she was always available on the phone irrespective of the time or day.

I would strongly advise anyone considering buying a property from St Modwen Homes (now owned by Miller Homes) to think very carefully in the West Midlands area.

My property still has a long list of unfinished works and examples of very poor workmanship. Some of these issues have been outstanding for years despite repeated attempts to have them resolved.

To give just a few examples:
- A downpipe was never installed, leaving an open hole in the ground. My toddler has already had his foot stuck in this hole three times, which is a clear safety hazard.
- We experienced a gas leak due to poor fitting during construction.
- Cabinets in the property were damaged by flooding caused by faulty workmanship and still have not been replaced, despite us waiting for over a year.
- Our front porch frequently has standing water due to poor drainage.
- The main drain appears to have a crack, and when the weather is hot or after heavy rain, there is a strong sewage smell coming from it.

The list unfortunately goes on.

Customer service has been extremely disappointing. I still have a significant number of outstanding issues, some of which are now more than three years old. This is despite the company’s two-year guarantee and the promise of delivering a safe and properly finished home.

At this point, I feel I have no option but to consider pursuing the matter through legal channels due to the continued failure to resolve these problems. Gas leaks, sewage smells, and obvious safety hazards are not what anyone should expect when buying a new home.

If you are looking for a safe, well-finished property and responsive customer service, my experience with St Modwen / Miller Homes has unfortunately been the complete opposite.

Called into the office in Consett to speak with someone and was greeted by Joanne. She couldn’t have been more helpful, giving me her time, explaining everything thoroughly suited to my situation and going through all of my potential options. Lovely lady to help and was very understanding with excellent knowledge to support me with big decisions being a first time buyer!

A member of my family purchased a home on Honeydew Row Broomhall Worcester
6 months after moving in they are still awaiting missing parts in the house. Electricity meters to be sorted ( due to sales people not dealing with the issue correctly)
Still a lot of snagging issues which are not being addressed! Once they have your money they are no longer interested in any issues
Appalling after sales service!

Minde came and put up some units for me in my kitchen. He was very professional and polite and did a fantastic job . He was organised and tidy and cleaned up after himself. It was a very accurate and professional job . I would like to thank him for this work. Many thanks Claire Neale

We purchased a property from St Modwen at Snibston Mill last week and had a fantastic experience throughout. Kyle, the sales representative, is very approachable, professional, and always welcoming, with a consistently positive attitude. He made us feel comfortable and supported from start to finish.
He took the time to answer all our questions clearly and explained everything thoroughly, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. He is truly a treasure to St Modwen Homes and a real credit to the team.
