simple and easy way to accept stock donations

Couldn’t have been easier. Love the low fee, and how quick and easy the process was.

I am not a stock broker, so I'm not really sure what the issues were, but when we sent a potential donor and their stock broker to Stockdonator.com they came back to me completely furious and frustrated with the process. Maybe a clearer way to find the "non-automated" form would help, and a clear explanation to brokers as to what the process is, as many donors will have their broker deal with the process. There were some issues with whether the stock gets "Pushed" or "Pulled", that I don't pretend to understand, but info around this issue might have been helpful to the broker, who "Pushed" the stock to Stockdonator, so then Stockdonator did not have the information needed to get the proceeds to us, the intended recipient.

What a super simple way for our church to receive stock donations! This took the hassle out of us having to obtain and maintain a brokerage account and was completed in just a few days. Great documentation at every step of the transaction along with quick & easy transfer of funds. Highly recommend to any non-profits who do not receive stock donations regularly or do not have the staff to handle this type of donation.

Stock Donator has made the process of accepting stock gifts easy and seamless for both our donors and our operations team. In the past we have used a traditional brokerage account and the process was cumbersome and we often didn't know who the donation came from. With Stock Donator, even those donors still giving the traditional way, we are provided with all of the donor and gift details. Our only regret is that we didn't switch to Stock Donator years ago.

Our donation was slow, but the service works. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the follow-through had a hiccup, and caused several weeks to go by before the donation was fully processed, causing us to lose a couple of thousand dollars because the market changed.
Once they became aware of what happened, they worked hard to get it right. Just wish they had followed through in the first place.
