I've been a member for a coupe of days now and I'm so impressed with the wealth of information being offered. The model portfolios, foundational (core) holdings, dividend and growth bull recommendations, QA and the discord channel! Well worth the subscription 10x over.

There was a recent post by Dan outlining the three big Telco companies as it was very detailed comparing all three companies.

Not what I expected from the promotion. Telus earnings were known well in advance but not posted until hours after the release. Discord is probably popular with younger generations or members with free time. I've found it distracting, full of gifs and just chit chat that can be found in many other free platforms. I've been turned away and as a consequence completely forgot about the stock screener.
Maybe some daily morning scans by Dan and Matt would be useful? So much is fundamental analysis with disregard for technical analysis. A recent statement by Dan said if he took a full position in a stock and it dropped 30% the next week, he wouldn't care. So a daily morning scan of stocks with potential entry and exit points may be useful to some members that are not strictly buy and hold. Some of us are seniors and need to be more diligent in our investing method.
I stick with a method that is simple and successful for me. I'm not sure if this membership can offer me anything, so far I've steered away and rarely visit the site. Sadly this is not what I had expected.

More than anything else, it is the ability to engage in conversations with a wide range of investors plus strong guidance from Dan Kent and Mat Litalien.

New to investing and joining Stocktrades has helped narrow down to which stocks to selected. Favourite thing about stock trades is the discord and the positive community that it has become! Any little question is answered throughly by Dan, Matt or another knowledgeable member. Excellent job guys!

I like that analysis of stocks and ETFs is summarized in layman’s terms that a casual investor like me can understand as well as more detailed info for those that prefer more of a deep dive.
I appreciate the bull lists and model portfolios that provide me paths to potential investing success.

I have eased into your site and have nibbled at a number of your core holdings. I am trying to be patient in this market. I had been heavily invested over the last few years in tech and faang stocks and did fairly well but a short while back I got,out of the market so I am getting back in slowly looking for yield and moderate short term growth. Considering getting into some bonds or GIC,s. Any suggestions

I've been a member for a few years and an investor for much longer, but I wasn't prepared for the swings of 2022. Thank you Mat and Dan for reminding me weekly to stay the course, invest for the long term and for showing me ways to grow my portfolio. Any question gets answered promptly and thoughtfully. There is so much content on Stocktrades Premium I can't hope to keep up with it all, but I find all that I need. I would bet that just about any investor would too.

I've subscribed to StockTrades for a couple of years running. Really like their tons of information from good, reliable, honest guys and an easy-to-use site. Also like that there is no pop-up crap that tries to encourage the purchase of other stuff you don't want!

Great platform! Dan & Mat have proven their knowledge in the investment field & have continually improved & added features to make Stocktrades what it is today. But they do not sit back once they have already created a great product/platform, they continually improve & ask the membership what they like, don't like and/or what members would like to see added. They also listens to the members & make changes. The platform has gone from Canadian content to now including US as well. The question & answer portion & the Discord (discussion) channel are excellent. As a member you can see & participate (if you like) in what others are doing, questions they have & the expert advise of Mat & Dan. Have been a member for just over a year & am so glad I found this platform & great group of members.

Dan and Matt deliver what they claim. Good basic stock advice that works well for me. Great variety of information and being mostly Canada focused is a bonus.
Keep up the great guidance.

I signed up for StockTrades about 1 month ago and am Very Impressed with the reports and information!
I made a few changes to my investments as a result of Dan’s Philosophy of Dividend Investing. So far I added a couple of securities on the recommended CDN Foundation’s List. Up approximately 5% to date!😊

Subscribed because their free email big picture stuff and a couple of public stock analyses were spot on and unusually perceptive in my view. They are legit, lots of info, better than good technical pedigree and top references. I asked one question that didn't really get answered. Haven't logged in since I think. Lots of emails. I read about one out of ten. I don't want to make investing another full time job. It isn't fun to me. I haven't bought or sold stocks for about a year and a half, I don't need to. I should, but I'm busy. The site had a lot of info. More than I want to fish through. RRSP's, TFSA, dividends, RESP and RDSP matches, Kids Stock plans have all accumulated about $220,000 CDN cash in the last year so I'll probably have to pick something. I haven't Sold anything in about 10 years. I wonder what to buy, but I'll likely just buy more of what I have. Seems to be auto renewing which is OK is guess. Good group for gonzo investors looking for more legitimacy and less hype.

Stock Trades went to Discord, even when the retail trader was stopped when putting their trades in. ...
I then asked to be taken off their list .. Did they? No No they did not and now they are automatically Charging me and have blocked my emails ... thus Have I go a refund? NO. BE very careful with these people they charge your credit card when you tell them to stop. You can even change your credit card .. yet they still can charge it.

I enjoy my Sunday news letter. I can't figure out where Dan gets the time to write it.
I have used the Foundational Stocks as my guide and am doing ok in these turbulent times.
These guys write informative articles that I actually understand.

I made the switch to 100% DIY as a late stage investor and find the premium tools here invaluable. Dan and Mat are two passionate guys that do a great job researching the market. I wish I had these guys behind me ten years ago. The Discord tool is great for gleaning info from other investors though I am not much (yet) for chatting about my finances online.

I haven't been a member for long but the time I have spent in the different member areas has taught me a lot. I am really brand new to investing in individual stocks etc. Their Discord has been informative and valuable and their premium member area of the website is great as well! I'm still exploring all they have to offer and I am learning more each day!

I joined Stocktrades Premium a month and a half ago and I am most pleased with the entire program! The Dashboard and especially the Discord are invaluable resources. Obviously the market over my time with Stocktrades has been less than stellar, but I fully agree with the long term investment thesis here. Have bought some of the recommended stocks, foundational, growth, and dividend, and am very comfortable with all for the long term.......I highly recommend if you are considering joining a service such as this that you take the time to understand the different choices, it is not necessarily the service that advertises and pushes the most that is the best.....here you get more than what you pay for as far as I am concerned, there is no 'after joining upsell' and as I am now actually experiencing Stocktrades I am absolutely sure I am in the right place!
