The area in the car park around the…
The area in the car park around the entrance to the units is full of rubbish and bags of discarded food and the drains are blocked with silt so a magnet for rats. Security shutter seems to left open during the day at times so security not great either.

Aside from an isolated incident on the day of your visit, when fast food litter was unfortunately thrown around the car park, the entrance area is not typically affected by rubbish. The site is checked and maintained daily, and since that incident we have also had our gardener attend to further smarten the customer entrance area.
Regarding the drains, periods of prolonged heavy rainfall can occasionally cause temporary overflow. However, following our most recent inspection by our pest control contractor less than two weeks ago, the site was confirmed to be in excellent condition with no evidence of vermin.
The security shutter you mention is opened during the day as part of normal operational use and closed outside of operating hours. Site security measures remain in place at all times.
We are more than happy to provide photographs of the loading bay and entrance areas if helpful, and we appreciate you raising your concerns so we can continue to maintain high standards across the site.

Unfortunately the house sale is taking longer than anticipated but if the price had remained the same as the intro offer I would have continued with the storage.

Facilities good, price increases too steep
The facilities are good but they are not looked after well enough, simply sweeping up would make a difference.
Unfortunately the prices have risen ridiculously compared with inflation since I took on the unit

Great Customer Services and Facilities
Great first experience at Store First Rushden. They held a unit for us for months before our house sale completed so i could move our belongings into storage. Units are various sizes and they help you match the size to your requirements. Good Value.

Just to clarify, the first three months are offered at a promotional rate, which is why the price returns to the standard rate afterwards. We understand it can feel like a big jump, but the offer is designed as an introductory discount rather than a long-term price.
Charging a good customer.
I’ve been storing at store first for nearly 4 years. Paying approximately 2000 per year
I requested the use of a second storage for four days and was charged a whole week for this.
As I’ve spent approximately £8000 over this time period I would’ve thought That store first would’ve helped and allowed me this for free as I’ve been a long-term custome, or at the very least only charged me for four days of use and not the full week

Homeless disabled person everything got sold off while in hospital getting treatment
Simply put I became homeless so entrusted everything I owned in the world to the rushden branch ended up unable to work having had 2 heart attacks and surgery explained everything to the office asked for a smaller one got told no would have to pay for both units and cancel one next time, long story short I missed Nov payment completely explained to management I was in hospital for bowel cancer treatments and would be back on My feet in January, he said take your time, left hospital for Christmas and first week of January rang the office to pay the back amount to be told they sold everything in December, so basically I had 3 change of clothes and that's everything I left hospital with, so the moral is don't have several heart attacks and cancer and Miss a payment coz they will fook you over so quick, no matter what you say or promise,
Between August 2024 and January 2025 I had 137 doctors consult treatments and tests with 2 surgery each with an extra long hospital stay so having enlightened the office once I didn't have the ability to keep communication explaining the same thing over and over and
Yes it was the last week of January I tried to back payment not the first week that is correct as stated in the reply just getting My facts right....

Thank you for your feedback. We always do our utmost to support customers in clearing arrears and to avoid the loss of stored items. However, when payments are not received and communication stops, we are obliged to follow the debt recovery process outlined in our terms and conditions. In this case, as no payments had been made since October and no contact was received after mid-December, the unit was regrettably sold on 14th January.

I love the container is close to my house and 24/7 open, so I can go there any time I prefer without any limitation . . .this is absolutely worthy for the price and everytime I have the option of the lift, and many traillers . . .good good good :)
