Storywizard turns a child's own story idea into a real, professionally printed book with their name on the cover as the author. We started with a simple observation: very few children will sit down and write four thousand words unaided, but almost every child has an idea worth reading. So the child does the part that matters. They invent the story, the characters and the key events, and choose how it might end. Storywizard writes the book from their plan, the way a ghostwriter works with any author, illustrates it, and prints it as a paperback or hardback and posts it to the door. Characters can be based on real people and pets. Add a photograph and we draw them as they really look, so a family, a best friend or the dog can appear in the story properly rather than in name only. Our focus is reading and creative writing, not novelty. A child will finish a book to find out how their own idea turned out, and seeing it in print is what gives them the confidence to write the next one. Every book also has a signature page at the back for friends and family to sign. Every story is checked before writing, written to strict content rules, and approved by a person before it goes anywhere near a printer. Books are printed in the UK.
