Very helpful when you are buying but beware of after sales service
Very helpful when you are buying a woodburner stove with a fabulous selection of antique and art deco models and they were great when something went wrong with the enamel coating on mine.So no complaints there whatsoever. However, the after sales service leaves a lot to be desired - the mica inserts (instead of glass) are prone to distortion, discolouration and piercing and when I asked about replacing these I was told rather abruptly that it was "too difficult" for them to do this and they were "much too busy". According to the owner, they told me this when I bought the stove but neither myself or my husband have any recollection of this. So putting the phone down on a customer and being rude by text is apparently an acceptable method of dealing with genuine enquiries.
