Streckers Reviews 11

Some friends and I were poorly inspired to go to Streckers today (3.11.13) and eat there. We ordered some burgers, which i must say that were eatable, i don't really get why they would use fabricated CIABATTA bread for a burger, and the meat was on one side of it cause of course it was too big for it but maybe they just ran out of the buns.
We are not really picky and it was ok that it wasn't the best thing we ate and it wasn't the best service but rudeness is not acceptable.
I ordered a bottle of water and they had Vittel bottles on the table, i opened one myself and when i did that, normally you hear the plastic from the lid break, it didn't and when i tasted it, it tasted like tap water. i drink a lot of water and it is usually what i order and there is a difference between the two. That was also ok, cause i drink it either way, if it is tap water or if it was something wrong with that particular bottle it would have been fine cause if i can drink it home i can drink it there as well.
What i thought would be nice though, is to tell them at the end that there was something wrong with it. I would have paid for it either way just wanted to let them know. So i nicely approached the waitress but while i was letting her know that i just wanted to tell her about it but she just left me hanging and called the manager.

The MANAGER came and i started off by telling him that i am going to pay for it and i don't want anything just to let them know but then he didn't even let me finish and he started YELLING at me and pointing at me while leaning towards me until my boyfriend intervened and calmed him down.
He was extremely RUDE and it is a place we will never go back to.
You do not treat customers that way, you can just listen and say you are sorry, i wasn't even asking for a solution but man you have some problems if you treat people that way, and yoou should not work in customer service. Seriously he ruined a part of our evening so i hope that the owner reads this and will care about it because i would NOT adivse anybody to go there.

SO there we were, 5 friends, celebrating a birthday in the best of our regular bars Streckers coctail bar on Vesterbrogade 2b. Walked in to a not very busy bar. The bartender was new to us. We ordered the drinks and were happy and excited. The drinks arrived and we paid our bill. First drink: mojito: i asked for extra lime and sugar before she started making the drink. The mojito i got had minus sugar and lime. I brought myself some more sugar and just let it be. Next drink: White russian: No taste at all except the taste of milk. It tasted like milk with kahula. We all tasted the drink and agreed that it was obviously a mistake that had been made. *I went upto the bartender and there it went off: 20 min of arguing with a waitress that couldnt care less. When the manager came i got hope that the situation will change but i realized quickly where the waitress have gotton her attitude from. I asked the waitress nicely to please try the drink so she herself would understand. She refused and found a million of excuses not to fix the drink. Where the manager also said that in Denmark the waiters are not allowed to drink while at work.

Obviously the customer is not always right here.

WE all left our drink after the half an hour of ridiculous arguing. Further down the street in rosie mcgee's we finally got some real drink and got to celebrate our birthday!
