Stuarts was founded in the heart of West London in 1967 with opening a store in Shepherds Bush. We are famously known for our contribution to the Mods and 80s Casuals subculture. Stuarts London became the ultimate destination for fashion-focused Lads, travelling from all areas of England. As QPR football team was in the premier league, The Lads would use the match days as an excuse for a shopping trip to Stuarts, coaches would park outside, to catch all the latest sought after brands. It is well known that on match days Stuarts would be mobbed with customers. Some-days a queue would even stretch outside the shop. Today we pride ourselves on bringing you a great choice of luxury & heritage menswear from brands that we carefully select from around the world. For those who love retro fashion, the store still stocks a selection of the vintage brands that helped build our foundations like the iconic Baracuta Harrington jackets to Danner boots. We are an official authorised stockist of every brand we display which confirms our product authenticity.

Ordered two jackets that were the same… exceptionally good customer service, would award 10 stars if possible!

Ordered two jackets that were the same but was unsure of sizing…..
I have to say the fit was perfect on one as well as the quality being fantastic as well.
The returns process was faultless, I actually exchanged one jacket for a different colour one and this where the customer service became exceptionally good!
Once I had confirmed to Stuart’s id sent the unwanted jacket they actually sent the replacement before they’d received the return, this in my book is not just incredible customer service it also shows a huge degree of trust in their customers!
Thankyou Madison for arranging this for, it is sincerely appreciated!
I have zero hesitation in recommending Stuart’s not just on the quality of their garments but their customer service is truly unsurpassable, they really are better than the rest!

My first visit to Stuart’s for around…

My first visit to Stuart’s for around 20 years having moved back to London. Same great eclectic mix of classic stylish men’s wear with thoughtful additions of modern pieces. Everything is available on line but you can’t beat the face to face friendly staff experience. Great stuff👍

Quality selection of items from the fashion industry available.
Also they sales assistance on hand to help out with advice on size and on the product available. Also if they don't have they item or items in stock they can reorder if available. Also refunds are processed nice and quick. Plus quality service as always..

Item not received at paid for time

I ordered an item on 15 March and Stuarts said it was despatched on 16 March by Royal Mail 48hr tracked. Now 19 March and no notification by Royal Mail and it is not on their system so has been mislaid somewhere along the line. I contacted Stuarts requesting a replacement to be sent but they replied that there is a problem at the RM Jubilee Centre. This is true. However, Stuarts contract is with the Royal Mail so not my concern. My contract is with Stuarts and they have not supplied the goods I have paid for. Stuarts are delaying again to make me wait another 6 working days in case RM delivers the goods. I have offered to send back any extra item received, but they are currently declining to send me the item by another courier. Not satisfied with this treatment.
Update. Item received today 24/3/26. Did not get on to RM tracking system until late 23/3 with delivery date for 25/3. Then this morning another message that delivery would be today. At least I have now got the item but Stuarts have been less than helpful or caring for the customer, or fulfiilling the 48hr delivery I paid for. Instead I have had a very inconvenient and anxious time not knowing, when, or if, I would receive the item. Raised a complaint. On 24/3 They apologised and said they had refunded the postage to my credit card. Three days later not received. They now said to check with my bank. Two days later I checked with bank credit card and not received. Stuarts now said they had a 'gateway issue' and asked for my bank account details. I reluctantly gave these. On 30/3 received the refund to my bank account. Thanked them. This company does not seem to be well managed.

I bought an item that was clearly not…

I bought an item that was clearly not sized correctly, in the sale. It took 10 days to arrive, but they do not exchange items if it's more than 14 days. Clever? Yip. Dishonest? Certainly. Buy from them again? Never! Don't do it, these are scam artists, giving London a bad name.

Customs Charges

Great customer service, great range of products, but will never order again unless incoterms for shipments are changed for the EU - €85 charge due to them not taking customs payments at check out and leaving me to foot the bill - when queried if I can return the items without paying the charges advised I would be charged fees for the same.

Excellent Shopping Experience

I have been shopping with Stuarts for many years and every single time the experiences has been excellent. I just bought some Red Wings that were too big for me. Did not have the smaller size in stock but I returned them and the refund was processed immediately. Customer service are absolutely great and on the end of a phone if you need them! Delivery is very often next day and the cheeky 10% sitewide discount they give most of the time is very much appreciated. The stock they carry is perfectly curated by someone who really knows what they are doing. Can't recommend them enough and am very please to support a Great British institution!

Big scam

English translation:

Big warning – this is a supplier that systematically scams customers. I ordered a T-shirt, but the size didn’t fit, so I returned it. I then received a reply saying that it wasn’t the correct T-shirt and they refused to refund me!

Whether it’s the Polish intermediary you send the item through who swaps the product, or Stuarts London themselves being dishonest, I don’t know. But a big warning regardless – do not order from Stuarts London!

We previously contacted you by email regarding the incorrect item returned to us, which does not belong to our company. We provided photographic evidence at the time and have not received any response from you.

We are therefore unclear as to why a public review has been left instead of responding to our email so the matter could be resolved directly.

To clarify, the item received back was not the product originally dispatched. All of our orders, particularly international shipments, are carefully checked prior to dispatch. When a return is made, we expect the correct item to be sent back to us.

If the incorrect item was sent in error, we are more than happy to arrange its return to you so that we may receive the correct product.

We do not believe leaving a negative review without responding to our attempts to contact you is a constructive way to resolve the matter. We remain willing to resolve this directly and look forward to your response.

The last time I used these people

The last time I used these people, they sent me their last pair of Rockport boots that were supposedly restocked. They weren't. It was one pair that had been returned by a customer because they were faulty and marked. I complained and they offered me a small discount off my next order. I thought I'd give them a go again regarding a coat so I emailed 5 days ago and I'm still waiting for the response. Won't use them again. Don't bother. It obviously upset them last time and they're still bitter. Simple truth is, don't send me someone else's returns and tell me you've restocked and I won't do you a poor review. Don't bother. Wouldn't recommend them at all to anyone for anything.

A top quality service for prestige branded fashion.

I had been searching for a specific "high end" shirt in my size. I found it at Stuarts. When I was on the brink of purchase at the checkout I was advised that I had not used the coupon that gave me 10% off. I duly used it. At the final purchase point the next working day delivery option came up at no extra charge. The shirt was well packaged and having been ordered at 9:30 on a Saturday morning it arrived at 2:30 the following afternoon - a Sunday!

Great Bargain

I got a great bargain on a pair of Danner Mountain Light hiking boots from Stuarts London. They’re completely genuine, excellent quality, and the delivery was very fast. Highly recommended.

Great service, as per usual

I’ve ordered from Stuarts a few times over the past year or two and whether it’s been multiple items or just single items, the service has been faultless. Customer service are always very helpful on the very odd occasion I’ve needed to speak to them. This time I ordered a pair of socks that arrived within a couple of days, as expected. Highly recommended

Excellent choice of quality clothes…

Excellent choice of quality clothes that you know will last. I ordered 3 grey sweatshirts. Kept the one I liked best - returned 2 and received a confirmatory email which also told me when the refund would be in my account. Hard to beat.

Hassle free as it should be.

I have bought from Stuarts of London many times. It is my go to place for certain brands especially Red Wing, Clarks Shoes and Mephisto. Always have a great selection and every time has been hassle free and spot on. On the rare occasion where I have exchanged an item that experience has been straight forward and the customer service has been great.

REFUND.

Purchase a barbour x baracuta porton wax jacket £329 .
Spoke to customer service about item would have been good of them to tell to size up as they come up small but no just get the sale.
Arrived next day dpd who are extremely good compared with royal mail .
Tried jacket on way to small put it back in box phoned customer service told me I had to pay postage £15 .00 not happy.
Phoned customer service next day they had received jacket told me one to three day for refund .
Three days later I had to phone customer service to remind them.
And then they stopped £4.95 postage
Back on the phone to customer service
They then sent the £4.95.
Also when I paid originally they took the payment out three times and returned it twice really don't know how that happened.
So I will never ever shop online there again.
Forgot to mention they tried to tell me i sent back a pair of jeans not a £300+ jacket .
