All the codes can just be found on the internet with no membership from student beans. It is a total scam that does not give you any special codes or discount just for being student, it gives you possible codes that might work.Honestly 80% of the time the codes don't even work and sometime it redirects your to the wrong website.

I’ve raised a formal complaint with student beans due to experiencing age discrimination in their verification process. I highlighted the issue in their process and why it was discriminatory, and they did not seem to grasp the gravity of the situation or even care.

The formal complaint was raised on in July with a 5 working day response deadline, which was ignored. They eventually replied mid August with a tone deaf response, ignoring my formal complaint and requesting me to repeat the very process I had flagged as discriminatory, despite me already having completed it previously. I can only assume it was intended to gaslight me.

I’m now considering taking legal action, as they need to learn it’s not okay to treat people like this.

For any mature students I would avoid this company. Not only do they act unethically and in a discriminatory
manner, they also seem to have not kept my documents secure. I would also recommend any brands currently working with them to think twice about being publicly associated.

I have been with student beans for 2 years and have never had an issue until I needed to reverify my student status for my final year. I am a student under The Open University, but I am now being told that the institution has all of a sudden not become available and they are not classing it as a real university! Disgusting customer service and highly insulting. I work a full time job as well as dedicating my time to completing this degree full time. Will never use them again even if the opportunity presents itself in the future. Have also advised friends and family to spread the world.

I was having difficulty signing in and uploading my information and military ID in order to obtain the 10% DSW discount from Student Beans. The support person who assisted me, Cristelle was MORE than helpful, patient and accomodating. After NUMEROUS attempts to get my information loaded into the system, Cristelle answered ALL of my questions in a very timely manner and very nicely. I can't say enough about her, other than she was BEYOND helpful. The customer service was extraordinary!!!!
