Reliable cars
As James May said when testing the 2005 Outback for Top Gear "This car is built to last for generations", and he may be right. My 2007 Outback hasn't needed any repairs so far. It can always be trusted to work, even in temperatures down to -40C (I live in Norway), and it doesn't get stuck in deep snow or slippery mud. The downside is that Subarus are generally boring and old-fashioned compared to many other car makes.

I've had a replacement part issue during the new car and extended warranties. Now out of warranty the same has happened with the same replacement part.
Contacted Subaru of America (Based in Cherry Hill, NJ) and talked to customer care. I also wrote a message to them on their owner's "mysubaru" website. Both Subaru of America and my local dealership Curry Subaru worked with me to reduce the replacement cost. This is my third Subaru (1996, 2002, 2010).
Customer experience with Subaru of America is the best since I've been driving for all these years and other brands as well.
They could have easily told me that they could not help me and I would have had to pay full price. Again and again, I can't say enough good things about this experience.
