Recurring order scams

Customer service is terrible. They use an AI tool instead of a real person so there's no room for conversation. They also auto-sign you up for recurring subscriptions and give no warning before your next order. Other retailers send an email a week before a recurring subscription that give customers the chance to skip or reschedule an order. Supergut does not do this which feels extremely scammy.

I tried Supergut GLP-1 Booster for one…

I tried Supergut GLP-1 Booster for one month, one scoop per day, but it did nothing for me. I was honestly still hungry when I took it. I never saw the difference. Maybe I didn't take it long enough, or should have taken more than one scoop for the day. I would not recommend or, if so, take it for a couple of months before deciding if it works or not.

This company is some how sending me…

This company is some how sending me products that I never order. I can't figure out how or why. I can't figure it out. I am thinking they were trying to scam me. I never brought products from their site I brought products from Target once. I reported them to the BB and for scam. This is crazy.

Quick and responsive customer service chat.

I must have accidentally signed up for a subscription. I was having difficulty figuring out how to cancel it and the live chat was fast and easy and were able to cancel my subscription within minutes. I have nothing negative to say about the product. It just wasn’t meeting my needs for the price.

Terrible business operation

They product is okay, but this company is terrible.

They charged me multiple times for a subscription without fulfilling any of the orders. When I asked they said they would just send it to me all at once… which is not what I wanted.

It took 3 months to finally get a pack of 12 meal bars. And when I got them the boxes were being held together by tape. They looked like someone else’s returned food.

The product is way too expensive for this sort of behavior. They notified me about delays in production causing long waits for customers only after my order was placed. In my opinion, if they couldn’t fulfill the orders, they should have stopped letting people order.

Unreliable shipping

They can take the order but can't seem to ship product. Similar to what others have experienced Supergut takes your order then never ships. I did get one order and it was about 3 weeks late. With respect to the actual product, I can't claim it works or that I've experienced any benefit. Part of the reason is that it can take over 8 weeks for anything to take effect, but since I can't get more product, there is no way to test. Customer service just sends canned responses. They have zero insight into what is actually going on, zero interest in solving the problem and zero autonomy to actually take action.

First time customer charged for product never shippe

First time customer, I received an email offering 20% promo code to try Supergut. I placed my order on 2/28/24 and was told my order would be shipped mid-March. Shortly after placing the order with my discount code I received my confirmation email and I saw that I was charged the full amount, no discount applied. I reached out to customer service explaining what happened and received a reply from Mary, who told me that because my order was already placed, it was too late to apply the discount and that she would apply the 20% discount to my next order that was scheduled to ship March 28th. I replied back to Mary letting her know my 1st order isn’t scheduled to ship for another two weeks (mid-March), and by the time I receive it my second order will be scheduled to ship shortly thereafter and I wouldn’t have time to evaluate the product and decide whether I want to continue with additional shipments. I then requested that she cancel my subscription and my current order, as I didn’t trust that this company had the customer’s best interest in mind. Mary emailed me back to inform me that she canceled my subscription and that she was given permission to honor the 20% promo discount if I would be willing to change my mind. I agreed to continue with my order, given that they did honor the 20% discount (the refund was applied back to my Apple CC within 24 hours). Mary reiterated that my subscription was canceled and my order was scheduled to ship mid-March.

March 19th, I email Mary because I had yet to receive any shipment info and my account page showed my order was still being processed and had not shipped. I received a reply from Mary a couple hours later, she apologized for the delay and she informed me that my shipment would be sent by the end of the week (March 22nd). I thanked her for the quick reply and update.

Today, March 27, I have yet to receive any shipment information and my customer page still shows my order is still being processed. I just sent an email to Mary advising her that I’m no longer interested in the product and to cancel my order and fully refund my original payment method.

I can’t say that Mary hasn’t been helpful, I think she’s doing what she can with what limited information she’s given to work with. I appreciate that she’s been responsive to my emails and she did correct the promo issue, although it took requesting to cancel to have the discount honored, but I’m thinking this may not have been within her control to offer to correct the discount when I initially brought it to their attention (it felt like a retention method to get you to commit to the second order to get the discount)…

I am not happy with the overall experience of waiting and having to reach out to check on an order that I am told will ship and then it never does. Needless to say, I could care less about trying this product, I don’t trust this company. In the meantime, I have received a number of marketing emails and request for referrals and product review, even though I never received anything. Bad business model.

Worst company

Worst company! They take your money and then they don't ship.
They lie continually, it's the same story by the same CSR all scripted.

DO NOT Prompt the website to ship early. All it does is reissues a new order date and pushes your order out more.

Truly a disgusting company. Worse part is the owner Mark Washington says he started this business to help people like his sister. Well, if he cared about his customers he would ship and not make them sicker.

Poorly ran company …

The company advertised a prebiotic bar for health yet they are incapable of producing a shipment once you've paid. Poor communication and I'm just tired of their excuses. Do not do business with this company!!!
