No goodwill

This is the email I sent to SG regarding a recent transaction

I doubt this will get me anywhere but I am going to complain anyway and post on social media media tos we what other people’s experiences have been.

I bought a shirt from North Rocks Suzanne Grae store one week ago.

The shirt does not work with the clothing I had intended it for. Therefore I decided to return it.

Unfortunately, I mislaid the receipt. Totally my own fault.

HOWEVER, the tags were still attached and the original price I paid. It was clearly unworn and the store attendant saw me walk in with the item.

Further, there is a record of the financial transaction on my bank details that clearly shows the original amount I paid.

But because the store had 30% off on the particular day I decided to return the item, it scanned at $15 less than I paid and that was all that I could recoup.

In effect, I donated $15 to Suzanne Grae.

While I sort of understand the policy - presumably you are afraid all your customers are thieves or scammers - there is such a lack of goodwill, in a store that I often visit and from where I have purchased many items, that it just leads me to decide that I should stick to online shopping where I get free returns, comparable value for clothing and fast customer service.

The staff member I spoke to could not even tell me when the sale would end so I could come back on a day when it would scan at its full price again. She was not particularly polite and almost dismissive.

As a busy working woman, I do not have time for this.

I realise I should have been more careful with my receipt but you should be offering online receipts anyway.

This Disappointing service will end up seeing SG going the way of so many other retailers.

I will use my store credit for the amount of $34 in lieu of a $50 purchase but after that, I will shop elsewhere.

LADIES USE YOUR FEET AS A VOICE and…

LADIES USE YOUR FEET AS A VOICE and AVOID this shop. Queanbeyan's service is APPAULING! I used to frequent this store every pay day and purchase at least 1 item & some times more. One of the staff even got to know my favourite colour ways. On this occassion, last week, I arrove with my partner who is now in his 80's, he has been in customer service for his entire life and is still a waiter 3 days a week. We chose a couple of shirts to purchase, the staff member ignored us and left us waiting at the empty counter as she kept fiddling with clothes on the rack at the front of the shop. Eventually, exasperated, my partner held his $50 in the air and said "you have a sale here". The staff member stormed over and said 'I'm not paid enough to sell to rude people" . Offended, my partner walked out. I discussed with the staff member that her actions were not OK, in fact given my partner is now suffering from age related illnesses I would have difficulty navigating a peaceful evening with him so upset. Her reply was "that's your fault for staying in the relationship". I reiterated with her that it was not OK to be abrupt and now also to be judgmental! People cannot help their illnesses. Again she just said "it is your fault for staying in the relationship" .
LADIES WALK AND TALK WITH YOUR FEET that attitude an NEVER be tolerated.

Point Cook Suzannegrae great service.

The staff at Point Cook were very welcoming, helpful and informative. I purchased the ponte pants which are very comfortable and while I was waiting for one of the staff to ring it up the other staff member was showing me how the three different colours also available now. It is nice to have a clothing store that is not just online and you can physically try on the clothes and take them home the same day!

Customer for many years

I have been purchasing clothes from suzannegrae for many years. The clothes are well-priced and they stock a good range. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

My purchases from Suzanne Grae were so nice, the colours were vibrant and so nice, especially coming into spring, the sizes were a bit different from each piece but not too the point were I had to return them,also the prices were great so thank you to the buyers at Suzann Grae, also they are using block colours with not so many floral

Terrible customer service at Stocklands…

Terrible customer service at Stocklands Burleigh store on 11/09.24. She kept telling me how "busy" she was when I asked for assistance, then proceeded to tell me again 4 times just how "busy" she is. Huffing and puffing around, making me feel as though I was wasting her time. I will definitely try another store next time.

Suzannegrae @ Cairns Central Excellent Service
As I walked past Suzannegrae I noticed beautiful bright coloured shirts and I must say they have a wonderful variety of clothes instore, and they are reasonably priced.
But I haven't been able to try on clothes in stores due to a disability for the last couple of years I generally order online, A wonderful staff member approached me and asked me if she could help. her name is Andrea, she assisted me with every item I bought her kindness and patience, was just outstanding and I was as looking for another couple shirts in a certain colour she was able to advise me that they were on order and when they would arrive in store.
I wouldn't have bought as much as I did if Andrea didn't assist me. And I did go to a few stores today and not one sales assistant asked if they could help apart from Andrea @ Suzannegrae @ Cairns Central
I will definitely be going back to shop at Suzannegrae for the wonderful customer service and for the great prices and wonderful new garments to choose from.

Rude staff

I have no issue with the quality or price of the clothing I bought at Southgate Sylvania Suzanne Grae this morning.
My issue was with the staff.
Two ladies working there were continually complaining about management and other staff from when I walked into the shop. No customers were acknowledged, I went into the change room, returned and took my skirt to the desk. The conversation continued between the sales ladies, I was spoken to twice, told the price then handed my bag with “ Here you go”. The rudeness I encounter from these two women really amazed me as I usually find Suzanne Grae staff to be courteous and friendly.
I think a little reminder to staff that it goes a long way to be polite to customers is due at Sylvania.
