Delivered ahead of schedule and is a very cost effective way to obtain an e-bike. Easy to fit and remove for charging.

I live near a large National Forest in the US. Therefore, I converted a Mtn/gravel bike with your MAX++ system in order to go further on USFS gravel roads used for access and maintaining the forest. After 2 longer rides of 20-25 miles, I am quite pleased with the performance of my kit and how it works on these somewhat rough surfaces. Yesterday, I used a little more than 30% of battery after a 20 mile ride which included many ups and downs with about 1900 ft of elevation gain on an out and back.

NOTE: I will probably not use this bike on traditional mountain bike trails as my pedal sensor magnet ring is attached to a pedal arm and could easily come in contact with either a rock, root, etc.

The Swytch MAX+ is a very universal and quality product! Packaging for overseas delivery is compact and secured while delivery was three weeks ahead of date promised. I do though have some not-so-positive issues. One is no appropriate frame surface is available to mount the pedal sensor on my Biria low slung frame. Even removing the pivoting mount on the sensor doesn't afford a clearance for the sensor from the magnetic pickup attached to the pedal arm. I had to make a custom mount for the sensor. Two, the senor cable is too short to connect to the handlebar mount. A cable extension solved this issue, but that includes an additional 3 weeks of processing and shipping time on top of the overseas charge near $40 US dollars. And three, which is not a product issue so much as a customer service issue, was the 9-day wait time for a reply from tech support (May 28-June 7) for a solution to the above issue. The reply was courteous and helpful on needing an extension to the cable, but not for mounting the sensor on my particular bicycle frame. With unique bike frames probably in the thousands, the overall universality of this product is good and the quality of all components is impressive.

The products are great. I am very pleased with my original conversion kit snd the new battery update. The ordering process could be clearer in terms of explaining what's you need and what is compatible, especially when upgrading.
However the customer service is good, although the AI bit is much quicker than the real people and it can be a bit difficult to communicate with a real person. The bot is above averagely helpful though.

Easy to fit kit, transformed my Halfords Crossfire 1 into an e bike for £550! I have found it to be reliable and the range is great as long as you adjust the assist depending on the terrain.

Fitting the kot was straightforward.
Sadly the bottle cage accessory simply did not leave sufficient space to fit and remove the battery so I gave that up and fitted the battery on the handlebars.
In action the motor is smooth and silent. I have yet to fully check out my capacity of the Max + battery, but 25km did not use much.
It would be good if the battery could be locked on.

Great product but AI communications with Swytch very frustrating

I ordered the kit in January and it arrived in June. I had a few minor issues with the installation because the wrong instructions were included, which took a bit of googling to sort out. Eventually I got it sorted out. I have two minor criticisms of the kit. One in that the cables are too long for my frame and have had to be bunched up which doesn’t look great. The other is that I was expecting the motor to be more powerful. After doing some research I would say it is about half the power of most electric bikes. Having said that I think a normal bike with this kit is lighter than an electric bike so that makes up for the lack of power. I use the bike to commute in mid Wales where it is very hilly and it certainly makes a difference - typically I can ride up a hill on the 38T ring rather than the 28T ring. It is also making me fitter, which is good.

Like their performance, ease of set up, batteries, quietness in operation, ease of charging. I have used them on two tandems and a roadbike. I purchased a fourth kit this last fall and haven't received it yet. I understand bike parts can be difficult to obtain. It would
be nice to be able to have talked to a representative. If I had known it would have taken this long I might have chosen to pay the higher price. Good product though

My previous MAX+ powerpack stopped running and, after analysing the reasons of the battery fault, Swytch customer support organized a replacement in no time. In less than two weeks I received a brand new powerpack. Thank so much for the support and for your prompt responsiveness!

Having this kit on my bike has transformed the way I use it. I have been able to use it daily, whereas I used to use it infrequently.

The setup was relatively straightforward and the functionality of the handlebar mount is excellent.

The drive wheel is responsive yet smooth and has allowed me to use my bike with confidence.

I ordered my kit early last year and was given a delivery date of November 2025. This date has moved to March 2026, June 2026, July 2026 and the ETA is now August 2026. Each time I track delivery it's pushed out another couple of weeks.

Earlier this year because delivery was so slow the company offered to refund my purchase. Being an idiot I said I'd wait for the kit. They keep saying that they're a startup but they've been going several years at this stage and that excuse, for their awful service, doesn't wash anymore. Complaining on Trustpilot seems to be the only way to get their attention so here I am, again.

With the help of the Support Team of the customer service I was able to "swytch" my tricycle into a Rocket :)

In my case the motor wheel had to be a bit wider to fit with my fork- a few days later I had the new wheel in my hands. Also for the next problem with the pedal sensor the team detected my fault and explained how to fix it. Hopefully some of the pictures and explanations will find a way into the general manuals or tutorials.

Yesterday I was finally able to drive the 20 miles around our lake- I wasn't able before because of a disease- what a beautiful reward!

Ho acquistato da loro ben due kit, un Go e un Max++.
L'ultimo, pagato in anticipo, mi è stato spedito con un anno di ritardo. Ora ho bisogno di alcuni accessori, una nuova ruota motorizzata, cavi, sensore e scopro che no, loro non vendono i singoli pezzi, ma tutto il kit. quindi se vi si danneggia un pezzo dovete ricomprare tutto da zero. Il mio consiglio: non comprate da Swytchbike.

This is a company that has no ability whatsoever to stay on the market. Great products, but customer management, after-sales support, and delivery times are scandalous.

I bought two kits from them, a Go and a Max++. The last one, paid for in advance, was shipped to me a full year late. Now I need some accessories — a new motorised wheel, cables, a sensor — and I find out that no, they don't sell individual parts, only the complete kit. So if one part breaks, you have to buy everything again from scratch. My advice: don't buy from Swytchbike.

I live in the US. Customer Support across the ocean is tough. Swytch support has been excellent, given the obstacles. They have helped me diagnose my issues, and when we isolated this component that is causing the problem, they are shipping me a replacement that I didn't even have to ask for! I have been experiencing intermittent power loss to the drive wheel, and we have isolated the cause to the controller (so, wheel, wires, pedal sensor, battery, all working fine!) and Swytch is sending me a new controller.

I really enjoy riding with my Swtch ebike kit. It helps me feel 20 years younger!

The Swytchbike conversion kit has transformed my bike it is a real pleasure to use my bike now.
You do need to be very patient if pre-ordering mine arrived three weeks early (2 - 3 Months delivery quoted)
Simple to fit the pedal sensor is sided which is not mentioned when showing how to fit the kit
